I bought a bakkie and paid cash. When they brought the bakkie after claiming to be washing they brought another s**** bakkie. I refused to take it and the Manager Michael wrote and signed a refund letter. It was 2018 .I paid R113 000. Till today they still haven't paid R35 000 and pay at their own time after getting judgement against them and this Michael keeps running and changing addresses. His girlfriend Sinphiwe is also a ****mer. I had to hire credit collection to trace them . This matter Michael is Nigerian and used to be at 110 Anderson Street JHB. I can only get him on WhatsApp and he also runs Many countries logistic company.

I bought a vehicle from Norbert Autos-VW Jetta 2015 end of August 2017,that was involved in a major Accident and i was not told about it,only that the car was repossessed by the bank. what i noticed about the car when i was checking it,the drivers door was not lined up,it had a gap that made it not the same as others.when i asked about that Mike one of the managers there asked One of their guys to take it out to have the door aligned.Michael kept on saying that they even painted the car and that's why it look that good.I asked him why he painted a 2015 car and his reply was they wanted it just to look good. when i was driving the car home to Secunda that same evening, the car was pulling hard to the R/H/S so hard that i couldn't let go of the steering wheel.i suspected the alignment in the suspension or the tyre pressure imbalance of the wheels.in the morning i went to the garage to check the tyres and tyres were ok,then i went to tiger wheel in Secunda for an alignment. I phone the lady that sold the car to me-Kelly that i am taking the car for an alignment and she agreed and that it won't cost much. The alignment was completely off in all four wheels.they took it for a test drive and it was still doing the same thing. They swapped the front tyres and took it out for another test drive and it came back still pulling. The next day i phoned kelly again to let her know that i was going to take the car to VW for a check up because it bothered me that the car was pulling in such a way that driving it was suicide.Kelly agreed and i took the car in and left it there. After work i went there to collect it.The mechanic that was inspecting it told me things that made me worried. He showed me under the car the chase of the car was heated up in trying to straighten it,the ball joint on the R/H/S was not a VW part and one shock absorber was changed and not the other one,so the car was going to pull, so it has to be taken to a panel beater to have the chase sorted out. When i called the next time,i spoke to Paul who i head was another manager for Norbert Autos and he told me to get a quotation to have it fixed and they will Pay.I took it to auto collision and repair in trichardt and left it there.I was shocked when the guy who made a quote for me,when he showed me all the faults in that car.the Person who was painting it did a terrible paint work and it had just body filler, the radiator was loose, they used wires in some areas to secure other parts, the anchor bolts in the front doors were some were missing, the wiper nozzles were not working The cost of fixing the car was almost the price of the car.I called Paul to let him know and he told me to return the car so that they can see what can be done if not, cancel the deal.all of these things i was doing when i'm off work .I returned the car,Mike received it and he was aggressive with me even on the phone, when i called saying i want the deal to be cancelled,he told me i will pay the cancelation fee that was going to be over R40000.00. So if you don't know much about things u will feel that there is nothing that you can do.at the end he took the car.It stayed with them for more that a month,i had to pay other people to take me to work.i used to call every week and both were very difficult to find. After a month they told me that the car was ready for collection.i was chocked when they brought it in the state that it was in.The front bumper was loose and some wires were hanging from underneath. what used to make me take it was that they would keep me for a long time until there was no transport and that i had to take it and also that i had scorpion handling the case, but they were useless all the way.i took the with hope that scorpion will help me resolve the matter and return it for good.Scorpion Failed with the 6 month consumer protection act window that they had.I took the matter to MIOSA-Motor industries ombudsman of south africa.the case is still on going and i still have a car that doesn't stop giving me troubles and the cost of fixing it comes from my pocket.i have changed the alternator, because it made a dead shot on the battery because of a crack it had from the accident,i changed the fuel pump,i changed the cv joints, stabiliser links, ball joints.the drive shafts of the cvs are bent because of the impact,it leaks water when it rains. I have never been in peace since the day i bought this Jetta from Norbert Autos.

I purchased a car from Q cars in August 2018. They got the car from Norbit Motors. The car looked perfect and I really was sold the dream by Mike - a salesperson with no ethical responsibility. All talk and promises but no actions. However, that is where the dream ended. Firstly, the on the road costs were to include the re-licencing of the car - this was never actioned from Qcars side as the excuse was that they didn't have a residential address for me. (Even though I received an email saying that I would be receiving the new licence disk within a few days.) Then the troubles started, one day while driving ALL the warning lights came on. I immediately took it to Audi who inspected the car and said the wiring and the front right wheel sensor was damaged. I asked how it could have been damaged, assuming I had damaged it, however they informed me that this was accident damage from previously. They also informed me that the car had been in a serious accident. The sensor needed replacing and rewiring so I of course contacted insurance. The assessor came to check out the car and informed me that there was multiple issues with the car. The CV joint had a massive tear, most of the bolts were missing and the car was in a very bad state, and unsafe to drive. I then got a call from my broker who had been in contact with the assessor who had informed them off the record that the car is dangerous to drive. When I purchased the car, it was told to me that there was a small bumper bash on the right side. A small bumper bash vs an accident that most probably resulted in it being a write off is very different. I took the car to another dealer as I wanted to get rid of it immediately, my safety being of top concern. The dealer took the car to another Audi in JHB and was informed that the car had NO Airbags as well as numerous other problems. Obviously not disclosed to me as I would never have purchased a car without airbags. I have read numerous reviews on this and all the stories are the same. the clients are not told that the car was a previous writeoff but a "bank repo" car and they have had a panel beater "fix it" before selling it to an unaware and unsuspecting customer. When contacting them, they told me it was disclosed that it was in an accident and it didn't matter if it was a big or small one (despite the paperwork I signed stating it had only a front right accident). Absouley dispicable that they could take advantage of a female customer and then not take responsibility and what is worse is that should I have had an accident in the car, it would have potentially been fatal due to the lack of airbags. Ethically and morally incorrect. I have contacted the consumer protector as well as the motor industry ombudsman however customers need to stay away from this company who are clearly taking advantage of unsuspecting customers. Between Norbit Motors and Qcars they are both in the wrong and I am going to take this further to ensure that no one else falls for this.

Hi Everyone, Norbet autos is completely bad news, do not even think about buying a car at this dealership no matter how legit or convincing these individuals may present themselves as they are complete crooks. I am seeking consumer protection and below is my story. Thank you for your attention. I purchased a used car, 116i BMW, from the dealership “Norbert Autos” on the 29th of December 2018. The sales personnel advised me that car is “accident free” and the “motor plan” is available as well as the car had "full service history" and had never been in an accident, and further to this they told me, it is a “bank repo” vehicle. I queried about the flashing light on the dashboard upon testing to which he responded that it was a seat belt light. I went on to purchase the vehicle and notified the dealer that I will be taking it to BMW for motor warranty transfer and to get inspection to ensure that the car is 100%. They agreed that everything would be fine at BMW. The lying and deceiving sales man Mike further mentioned that if I had any issues I could bring it back. I drove the car for one day parked it for a week and on the second day of me driving the car the following week the car completely stopped at a high traffic intersection and could not move due to an ignition problem. Thankfully BMW came to the rescue and had the car taken to the dealership. I had already booked the car in for inspection the same Friday but the break down happened before I was even able to take it in for evaluation. I paid the Norbet autos R140000 on the 29th of December with an outstanding balance of 10000 and settled the balance on the 2nd of Jan so I could get the motor warranty transfer as they needed the vehicle to be under my name so they could start working on it. I finally received the papers and arrived at BMW on the morning of the 8th of Jan and the helpful agents at BMW Advised me that the car was in a massive accident airbags were deployed, the whole car was repainted incorrectly. The battery was not a BMW battery the car had on pirate light and was not repaired at an Approved BMW panel beater thus all the problems. They further mentioned that the warranty would also immediately fall away. The dashboard and lower carpets were also not fitted correctly. When it came to my knowledge that the car has no motor plan and it was involved in an accident from BMW, I then went to the Norbet autos to make them aware of this situation and requested a refund and that they collect the car from the BMW as it will need to be towed. They then fought with me and refused to pay me a refund of my 150000 that I paid for the vehicle. I am now stranded with no car and with a 1h 45m commute daily to work which has now doubled due to me having to catch taxi's. They were deceptive in that the lied to me and left me in a desperate state and without transport that I have no alternative but to seek your assistance and help in this regard. Please stay away from these crooks Norbet autos is complete bad new. Looking forward to receiving your help.
