Unlawful policy by Norkem Hardware. No refund policy
I will never buy from this shop again. I bought an item for plumbing because my pipe was leaking. The guy who was assisting us said we can return it if it doesn't fit. I brought back the item and I was told about no refund policy, only exchange. This is unlawful, every retailer must operate within the confines of the consumer protection act. I would like to warn people to stop supporting this small hardwares which don't value your support. Buy from places like builders warehouse where they value your support and respect the laws of this country

Unlawful policy by Norkem Hardware. No refund policy

123 Praxley product
I bought a 123 praxley glue at the advice of the manager to still mu rearview mirror that came off. It didn't stick for 1sec and when I returned it, they give me every excuse why they worn reimburse my money. Be careful when buying from 2nd rated hardware stores with no return policies or guarantees.

Pathetic service
Bought an inverter Dec 2021. First of all the salesman couldn't tell me how it works and what battery to buy. They told me I have a 12 months guarantee. After 2 months the inverter broke. I took it in and they send it to be repaired. Gert, the repair man said the inverters are "China ****!" Gert was also rude, whenever you get a hold of him, he throws the phone down without talking to you. When I received it back, they gave me a very old one, full of scratches. After 4 months the inverter broke again. When I took it back, they said the guarantee is only 6 months now and they are not going to repair it. They also didn't want to give my broken inverter back to me. They also removed all those inverters in their shop. To many come backs, they said. All I can say: rather go to builders warehouse and don't trust anything Norkem Hardware tells you. Pathetic service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO REFUND / NO STOCK - DON'T CARE !!
This is a warning to all who purchase products from NORKEM HARDWARE in Norkem Mall / Norkem Park. After asking the salesman about some items I needed, firstly he wasn't sure of what I was talking about and after a while explaining he took me to a shelf. The items I was looking for was out of stock. So, I purchased some items that could've worked but said that I would need to return them should they not be possible. He said sure …… After getting home and finding out the items were in fact incorrect and that they would not work for my current project, I returned to the hardware to obtain my refund so that I could go somewhere else - my project needed to be finalized that day. I was duly informed - NO REFUNDS !!!! What, the items weren't opened and/or used - purchased a couple of hours before !!! I had to EXCHANGE the items. Why exchange? they did not have what I needed. My project is now 2 weeks overdue because they said that they would order the correct items. My question also now is - the ordered items are CHEAPER than the items I originally purchased. I spent R 298,99. The new items will cost approx. R 220. Will I get the difference of R 78,99 back ??? So before you shop - make sure that what you buy is 100% correct and if not, that they do have stock of what is really needed. EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE !!!! WON'T BE GOING BACK THERE AGAIN !!! (after supporting them for so long instead of the bigger name brand hardwares)
