I recently dined at Ocean Basket with my girlfriend and ordered a variety of salmon sushi. As soon as we tasted it, we both agreed that the salmon didn’t taste right. I called the manager over and asked him to please check it. He did taste it himself, but came back saying there was nothing wrong with it, which honestly felt quite dismissive. I’ve always enjoyed Ocean Basket, but the quality of their sushi seems to have dropped noticeably. It’s disappointing to pay full price for food that didn’t taste fresh, and to be made to feel like I was the problem for pointing it out. I really hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves their quality standards.
