This place has me pulling my hair out of my head. Most unreliable. The always promise to phone back but NEVER do. They have known about my problem since wednesday yet here i am on friday 3 o clock and still waiting for them to phone me back or the tecnician to arrive. Most frustrating!!!!

OEG Electric just recently gave me quote of R6 400 to repair my Samsung washing machine, complete daylight robbery at its worst degree! Cecelia the manager refuses to give me her surname as i think she is even embarrassed with her own business! Avoid this company at all levels, do not allow yourself to be robbed !!! Their customer service is also horrendous to say the least !

I have been waiting for three days now for a technician to come out and repair my Samsung fridge. I paid a call out fee for 5 minutes only to be told that I should leave the fridge on for 4 days before he can tell me what the problem is. Why was I not told this from the start. I have then been told via sms that a technician will come out everyday since Monday. We have not have a fridge now for two weeks. When calling Samsung I am told that the call has been closed. Unacceptable service. I still do not even see how what he thinks we should try will even fix the problem. The PC board is working and the temperature remains constant. How can this cause the freezer and fridge to not work if the temperature is correct? All I see when googling your name is negative reviews, I do not understand how you are a preferred vendor for Samsung!

We bought a Samsung dishwasher. The dishes would not come clean. Samsung contacted me and said their representative technician would call for an appointment. Oeg Electrical from 98 President Street, Germiston made the appointment. They advised what day they will come out and give me an hours notice so I could be there. They did not call, they just arrived. Thank heavens my husband was home. We followed their advice, changed soap powder and washed plates first (why do I have a dish washer?). The dishes still didn't clean, I called Oeg Electrical and was lied to about my dishwasher being filthy dirty, full of food particles and that they pulled spaghetti out and showed my husband. Lies! Oeg Electrical also warned they would charge a call out fee should they find food particles in the machine! Seriously? I called Samsung again and asked for a different technician as I felt so insulted by Oeg. A day was arranged and again they said they would give notice before arrival. They didn't arrive until much later, again my hubby was home. It was Oeg again. After checking it they said they would suggest to Samsung it be replaced. They deny this. I have made all the calls to Samsung and Oeg.
