I have house insurance with Virgin Money and with it I have the benefit of home assist. I was refused help because i wanted home assist to send a technician to check whats wrong with my gate motor and i was told the gate motor is not part of the property i have insured with them. I do not know if the gate is not part of the property then what part does it fall under. I was told home assist means help with an electrician. You pay your monthly premiums but when you need help these insurances do all they can to avoid assisting you, i didnt ask them to pay for my gate i asked them to help me with home assist and whatever is wrong i will fix once the handyman has found the problem. <div><br></div><div><em>(Supplier name changed from Virgin Money South Africa to Virgin Insurance by Hellopeter.com)</em></div>
