Olives & Plates- Hyde Park

I am not one to take to HelloPeter to write a review. I am however unsatisfied with the service I recently experienced at Olives & Plates- Hyde Park this past Friday. First it was the lipstick stain on my clearly unwashed cup. I unfortunately noticed this a few sips in and notified the manager- the waiter was nonchalant and unhelpful from the get go. I follow a plant based diet and notified the waiter about this at the top of the conversation. A few bites into my meal, I noticed melted cheese at the bottom of my plate. I notified the manager again, watched him go ask the chef who happened to be in plain sight why there was cheese on the plate. The chef informed the manager that it was cauliflower. It was not. This was the second incident. Not only were the other waiters laughing and clearly unbothered, the overall service was quite underwhelming- lacklustre on the part of the waiter and the individuals who should have made the space and experience comfortable and enjoyable. I will not be spending another dime at this establishment. Cleanliness, respect and my health are not worth compromising for a subpar experience.
