short term rental while the tenant is abroad and you will end up paying for repairs and maintenance that has not been done to the apartment in years! No paint in years, skirting loose for years, cracked tile for years and now all of a sudden this is being fixed with our deposit. Accused of taking items that I know was left behind and never used

I would highly recommend that you think twice about renting from this Cape Town real estate agent. We rented a short term flat from agent Sannette Burger,*****received no repairs of almost everything that was broken in the flat and upon viewing "we will fix this soonest". We ended up canceling early , because of retrenchment, although we gave 2 months notice, and accommodated viewing after viewing, furnished the half furnished place a little more and left for the cleaners bags of clothes, all in good faith, there was a new rental in not two days after we left. According to our contract because of the new renter and notice period there is no financial loss and no legal reason to keep our deposit, although that is exactly what happened, this thief company stole a large amount of our deposit for illegal reasons, and after 2 months of hounding I got to see a little back. SO WARNING IF YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR DEPOSIT AT THE END OF A CIVILIZED RENAL, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

We are a complex in Brackenfell that have been having problems with our gate every bluddy time loadshedding kicks in.
We've complained to Henru from Our House Management about this problem since beginning of May 2015, if not before that and was promised codes for gate and keys, but NOTHING has happened to date.
In the interim someone has actually cut off the wiring to open the gate, which cost US, the owners R7K out of body corp account (for which we pay levy for).
This morning same crap happened... loadshedding and gate does not want to open! And he only mumbles something... someone on his way to fix it. This 6am this morning!
