I have an ovhd decoder. I've been having problems with connection. I've whatsapped their support number for the last 2 months and am not getting a response. I've tried to do it by sending through a message on their helpline and even though they charge for the SMS they keep send a response that it's not valid. I've tried calling the call center and the number is not in use. I am very disappointed in their services and they should stop advertising for ovhd because no one is will to help when we have issues with it.

My ovhd says no signal go to settings then Satellite management, I tried calling customer care no response they have a high call volume so your airtime gets finished waiting on the line, then they ask you on the voice prompt to send a WhatsApp message which I did, the message gets read but no response.

The words I have to describe my encounters with OVHD Call Centre is UTTER DISGUST!! Are these staff underpaid or depressed in their jobs? If so let Them find other jobs! Employ others who will treat Customers with RESPECT! GET RID OF THEM! Their gross telephonic behavior will not get them far; in fact they will go nowhere in Life. They should be taught the Value/s of the Customers. After a call is made, one listens to monotonous replay of messages for twenty minutes with those uncouth non caring listeners in the background. Eventually when they decide to answer in the most abrupt, unethical manner, they end up arguing that they know what the customer/s problem happens to be! After another ten minutes, when the customer is given a chance to speak, they rudely put the phone down. I have had a problem with OVHD for the past three weeks now. Tried contacting four times! Repeatedly faced with Blunt Rudeness, Nothing succumbed ON ALL OCCASIONS. OVHD STILL NOT WORKING. Shame & how Sad that these uns****ed people were selected to “supposedly” assist the Customer/s. Let me end off with these words; Teach OVHD Staff the meaning of KARMA! & something to think about; SAA staff left many Customers disgruntled; take a look at where they being staff members are now!

OVHD has become a dinosaur. Nothing but repeats and old series that are not even worth watching yet it takes prime time slots. Every series is repeated constantly and nothing ever changes. The Indian movies are the same, 2yrs of OVHD and they still advertise the same movies as coming soon BLOCKBUSTERS. How many times can we watch repeats. The Kids channel is not any different. I overhear my son on the weekends and what he watches on a Saturday is repeated on a Sunday. On the occasion I'm at home on a weekday it's the same, what you see then you see on the weekend. I have been hearing and inserts on the Kids channel for 2yrs that haven't changed and are repeated more than 10 times in a day. What are they learning? whoever plans their programming is pathetic and they should really change everything. If you try to follow a series, times slots just get changed without notice. The worst is the DUBBING, I don;t know who or how it happens but guys please we do have better speaking people to do DUBBING. I am even offering to do dubbing. Now for the very advertised USB stick to record your favourite shows!!!! It records with glitches so you can never watch a full recording without missing big chunks of it and then the picture is also distorted and recording quality is terrible. I bought a USB Stick a month ago and this has been happening from the beginning. I guess OVHD is really profiting with all the R 299 - R 399 customers spend for nothing. Don't advertise for good quality and content and then give us ****!!!!

After OVHD removed DaVinci learning, there's absolutely nothing to watch anymore. They've added new channels, but nothing to stimulate the brain. Maybe no one at OVHD could relate to and appreciate the DaVinci channel. Soapies and old movies rule!!

I use a DStv dish and the audio is lost very often. This did not happen with DStv or when I had the same ovhd setup 2 years ago. I reset my OVHD decoder and unplugged the dish input as suggested by support but no improvement. OVHD is becoming a frustration.
