I had a great family vacation thanks to Pavillion Hotel, the staff treated us so well and our rooms were clean. We arrived hours before our check in time and the Hotel staff took care of our luggage until a room was available giving us a chance to tour the area and go to the beach. My daughter says the Hotel does not deserve 5 but a 100 STARS for the great experience!!! Thank you Pavillion Team :)

What a wonderful experience and great service!!! From the caretaker(Lungelo) to the reception. Would like to say a special Thank You to Ryan for the great service he provided for me considering that I am in a wheelchair he took it out of his way that I get the paraplegic room so that I don’t have trouble getting in and out of the rest room. The place is clean and smells fresh. Will definitely be going back and recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a place to rest

What a wonderful experience and great service!!! From the caretaker(Lungelo) to the reception. It is not what you see on bookings . Com ... no water pressure in the shower ... TV remote does not work neither do the buttons on the TV... asked for assistance instead batteries were sent to my room . No tab on room service ... parking limited to 11 cars so you park on the streets

This hotel is a mess. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! This is NOT what is appears to be online. If you are willing to pay for a hotel experience and have to settle for a backpacker experience then this is the hotel for you. The staff are rude, they don't care about guests and it is a rundown building in desperate need of refurbishment. This hotel will ruin your holiday experience

This hotel is a mess. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! This is NOT what is appears to be online. If you are willing to pay for a hotel experience and have to settle for a backpacker experience then this is the hotel for you. The staff are rude, they don't care about guests and it is a rundown building in desperate need of refurbishment. This hotel will ruin your holiday experience

To whom it may concern I recently booked at the Pavillion hotel 15 KE Masinga Rd, North Beach, Durban, 4001 Phone: 031 337 7366 in KZN for a weekend away to celebrate my husbands birthday from the website images it seemed to be clean and pretty well kept thus decided to go ahead and book online that should have been the start of a beautiful weekend, but to my disappointment, on arrival, we were surprised to find the hotel room in dismal conditions and not to my expectation nor satisfaction When I asked told the staff of the hotel that this was a misleading image on the website and that I would like a refund seeing it was not to my satisfaction and would not be staying in the hotel thus requested a refund The hotel manager advised contacting the agency that we had booked as they had nothing to do with the booking. Frustrated I did as requested and called the agency and they advised the best that they could do was refund me 10% of the full amount which accumulated into a R95 voucher. This seems ridiculous seeing as I did not even take my bags up to the room nor did I stay even one day or night. That was over a week ago till today after numerous calls and emails back and forth nothing has been resolved nor have I been refunded. Given the current state of affairs, you would think that businesses in the travel and tourism industry would ensure what little clients they do accrue are taken care of and treated with some dignity. I just wanted what was advertised to have a good weekend with my husband but rather all I got was frustration, incosideration, and total disregard for customer service.

This weekend I had the privilege of spending time at the Strand Pavillion Hotel. The views are absolutely stunning. The service is fantastic and the facilities are great! The unit we stayed in a 3 bedroom unit on the second floor. I was really impressed by the complete package. I can recommend anyone going there! #goodvibes
