No accountability for incorrect medication. I have been a customer for over a good few years. I recently sent my prescription via their WhatsApp line to order my medication for delivery, prior to confirming payment done via eft because it was a high value product, I confirmed if they had what I needed in stock, the lady who was dealing with me said they did. Before delivering, a call was made to me regarding delivery. When I received my medication, the label was blocking very crucial information, I opened the box to confirm with my GP if that was the correct meds. He then referred to the prescription he wrote that clearly details the dosage as well as the pen size. Upon hearing this, I contacted the pharmacy regarding the wrong medication delivered, they tried to convince me to take it but I was skeptical so I asked for a refund so I could save for the correct medication as it was costing me a R1000 more. The lady at the pharmacy agreed, when my partner got there, the manager Jeremy at first said they don't accept fridge items back, when I had brought up that it was the incorrect pen over a phone call , the manager says the box has been opened, thereafter asking me if I had told the lady over WhatsApp that I had opened the box, I took a picture of the pen, common sense would've told anyone that the box had been opened. The manager then says he's unable to assist me. I have no option but to submit a formal complaint against the pharmacy for negligence on their part and not taking accountability for issuing incorrect medication.

Pelican Pharmacy is an extremely friendly pharmacy based in Bayview, Chatsworth. From walking in the staff from security, cashiers and admin staff one feels very welcome. The pharmacist, Jonathan is well conversed in what one needs for any ailment and his friendly, well mannered approach to each and every one of his "patients" is so caring that one feels very safe in his hands when supplying the correct tmedication. I recommend this pharmacy to all whom I meet.

Just wanted to commend Jeremy and his team. I had such a crisis yesterday and they came through for my family and I. I would like to mention a staff member named Keora, she has outstanding mannerisms and excellent telephone etiquette. This youngster has potential in the customer service industry. Well done to her and keep up the good work. Kind Regards

I have spoken to the owner of Pelican Pharmacy. He was adamant that his price meet the consumer regulation board. I have decided to lodge a complaint to the consumer watch and consumers protection act. There has been abundance of complaints regarding the Pharmacy

Exorbitant prices. The box of 50 mask is currently selling at R400.00 a box. Crystal are R60.00 else where R30.00. Customer service has dropped drastically and prices have increased significantly. The staff are extremely rude especially the front help. There is an elderly staff help whom is always rude and has no curtisty to ask customers to enter with just 1 person. Extremely abruptly tell customers to leave you can't wait in the store. The pharmacy is overpriced with almost everything in the store.

I am a regular customer of pelican pharmacy and contacted them yesterday for some OTC medication as my son had a high fever and GP'S were closed,I asked for ponstan suppositories,Walpole and mood ointment, the person in charge in dispensary suggested I take panamor which is better than ponstan, when medication was delivered and I googled as it's first time use I saw its not for fever and is a generic for voltaren, this morning I contacted them and they are being extremely rude and a manager refuses to contact me even though the fault is on their side, absolutely disgusted by the service as my son could have had a bad reaction as I am allergic to voltaren.I have called and emailed with no response till now.
