I got a R1800 quote from them for removing about 30 full recycling bags. They phoned me to say they needed the balance of R900 paid upfront, which I did. Meanwhile, a different removal company (that I thought were them) picked up the bags. So I phoned Peninsula Removal Services that they didn't need to come anymore. They answered that their truck was already on its way and I still needed to pay the remaining R900 balance, which I at first refused to do (very loudly). They then threatened to hand me over to a collections service if I didn't pay immediately. So I paid the balance. That's a total of R1800 paid for a service not rendered. To say I am dissatisfied is putting it mildly. Also note that I have now received quotes of R520 and R600 respectively for the same removal job from other companies, so I honestly thought that initial R900 would have covered their inconvenience.

I had a really great experience with peninsula removal service. They seem to be a smallish standard company but have great prices and quick service delivery.

On quoting this company has tried to hand us over for a fraudulanet invoice, no deposit was paid, no service confirmed and no service delivered. I went with another reccommended company, from that day this company has harrassed us, demanded payment for a service never delivered and the additionally fraudulent company Credit Intel has accepted a hand over with no confirmation of indebtedness. Imagine a society where anybody can just invoice you for anything they like and hand you over if you dont pay within 3 days, THIS IS ILLEGAL AND FRAUD

<p>I paid a deposit to them and after reviewing Hello Peter and their very bad reviews, I emailed Paul to ask that if I wanted to cancel would I get my deposit back. He replied that I would not and the deal was ended. I then phoned to speak to him hoping he would instill some confidence in me to keep using them but did not get far as he put the phone down on me. I then tried phoning him back to say that I had not cancelled but no answer and has not come back to me!! Suffice to say that customers are not important to him - he has my money anyway so why does he need me!! I have cancelled now and lost the deposit but wonder how his business is if he can afford to lose customers so quickly.</p>
