Pet Masters Wilgeuheuwel
Experience as always brilliant. Extremely knowledgeable & friendly. I have had a few fish tank flops (too impatient) Charmaine and her team are always happy to assist. Whether it be aquatic or dog products I never go wrong with thier advise. Just want to give the wilgeheuwel store a huge shout out.

Petmasters - Wilgeheuwel- Be Cautious
Terrible Service!!!!! I purchased 3 fish from the store. Upon their advise, I had purchased, fish food, oxygen tablets and a big bowl for 3 goldfish. At the store i noticed that one fish was already looking as the fish was going die. I had asked the question is that normal and the staff had assured me that's normal @ Friday afternoon around 16:30pm. The next morning. 2 fish had died. My parent went to the store the next day and the Manager had told her they cant refund or replace the fish as it already left the shop. My parent there after bought 2 new fish from the store at the time. A tiny fish was then given to her and 2 hours later all fish had died. In total 6 goldfish was bought from this store and all had died. I called the store this morning and the manager was very rude and she said she cannot replace any fish. The customer service is extremely poor and speaking to her on the phone was very aggravating as she used an aggressive tone and was not customer centric. I had paid close to R900.00. I feel as if i was ****med, i tried to resolve the issue, but the terrible service received and the way the it was handled was not professional. The store even cut my call whilst speaking. If someone can help, i would appreciate this. If not please be cautious when buying anything from this shop,

Petmasters - Wilgeheuwel is cruel to reptiles and should be closed down
I can't believe what I saw at Pet Master Wilgeheuwel at Retail Crossing in all their Reptile enclosures with Reptiles in no basking spot lights or heat mat or UVB lights that is vital for their health and survival with out it they will not starve and if they do they will end up with MBD and who know what else I would not support them because you will be buying a reptile that is going to need to go to a exotic veterinarian to try to get it back to health but the damage is already done and it can't be fixed only further damage to the Reptile to prevent can be prevented!!! This is the need you have to provide a reptile with if you want to keep them or trade in them *_The World's 5 Welfare Needs For Captive Kept Reptiles_* °Need for a suitable environment. (Mimicking it's natural environment and Habitat, an enclosure that has ample space for it to regulate it body temperature) °Need for a suitable diet. (Well balanced diet & multi vitamin and calcium) °Need to be able to exhibit normal behaviour patterns. (climbing & digging & burrowing) °Need to be housed with, or apart, from other animals. (This comes down to the keepers level of experience) °Need to be protected from pain, suffering, injury and disease. (veterinary treatment and health care advice and guidance from experts and veterinary) Not even one are you providing You should be heavily fined and closed down because you are being abusive and cruel to reptiles and animals plus you should have to pay all the veterinarian bills to get them back to health what can be helped

Thanks zane for all your help all the employees didn't want to help me but you my son you don't care if there white black blue doesn't matter to you thread everyone as one Future customers do your self a favor and ask for Zane next time you are at petmasters he is help full he doesn't take petmaster employees **** if they do something wrong he tells them no wait that is wrong but can se he is a good kid THIS IS FOR THE MANAGER Dear manager pls never let zane go pls he works hard he will always try to help everyone that he can like today he was busy with 5 customers at one time that includes me and all of us got the right stuff we wanted.

Disgusting pet store with no regard for the animals wellbeing.
A pet *****s hell. I have no idea why they are still in business when they cannot even look after the pets that they sell. Especially the 'rat tanks'. It is overrun, and horrific. Rats are missing body parts and covered in mites. One girl was not doing well at all, so their solution - put her in a box and then when we leave, release her back in the tank without assisting her. I know some people buy them just for snake food, but as a person who has them as pets, it is absolutely disgusting how they treat and keep them.

Permasters Boksburg false advertising
Their ad clearly states the dog food special is for the whole of May, while stocks last, however when we got there on 28 May, the managaer advised that it was only for 100 bags of food. How is it possible that your ad states while stocks last, you have stock on your shelves, yet your manager tells me it is only for 100 bags which have sold out. Your false advertising wasted my time and petrol as I drove 17km to buy this special.

Their ad clearly states the dog food special is for the whole of May, while stocks last, however when we got there on 28 May, the managaer advised that it was only for 100 bags of food. How is it possible that your ad states while stocks last, you have stock on your shelves, yet your manager tells me it is only for 100 bags which have sold out. Your false advertising wasted my time and petrol as I drove 17km to buy this special.
