I bought a ford fiesta a few months ago and only brought it to Peters Auto, I have spent thousands and thousands on to fix the car and their work only lasted a few days, For the last 2 months I had my car I has my car less than a week in total, I had it for a day or so and then I had to take it back and pay every time more and more. So I had a thought to take it to a new mechanic, they showed me all the cheap dirty mechanic tricks that Peters Auto Care did on my car. Every oil leak they said they fixed was with gasket sealant through my water bottle, so much that the whole water bottle went black. The car is currently smoking like a steam train and Peters Auto Care do not live up to their warranty. I spent over 20k by them and the car is in worse shape than when I showed up with the car there the 1st time. I would not recommend them at all. I also took my mother's car there when something was wrong and they fixed it, the fix only lasted a week. Once of my ****orkers also took her car to them and they replaced sensors that made no difference to the issue, she has to go to another mechanic as well.

This Man is an OLD MAN ***** I wish I could take the law into my own hands and show him he can't mess up with people's life and things just for your own sake and money, I took a W205 to this man for repair in February, after diagnosing he said I needed to change 1 injector and the car would go back to its right state, after a go-ahead to fix 1 injector, He called the next day that 4 injectors had to be replaced, I questioned him but you are professional you should be able to say what exactly is wrong with the car immediately not second-guessing he made a flimsy excuse then I said put back the injectors I will go somewhere else, Then he said there is no way I could fit the injectors back into the car after taking them out already, Then I told him its fine, fix the injectors, after he fixed the injectors and I paid for it, Then he called me again, now the injectors are fine but I still can hear the engine making some noise and I checked it, it is the piston, You will need to change the piston... and it will cost you R80,000 for a 2014 mecedez benz, so I told him I cant afford that much put back my car and let me come take it the way it is, Peter charged me an additional fee of about an extra R34,000 for taking out the engine and putting it back and the problem still remains, After dispute, he then say pay me for my utilities only which came up to R12000, So after charging me to fix 4 injectors and an extra R12000, My car came cack worse Now, after leaving his workshop the injectors are still not fixed diagnostics show that the cylinder 1 injector is still faulty. my steering rack is ****ed up completely (mind you w205 steering Rack is very difficult to find and very expensive) my front bumper is broken by the bracket I need to buy a new one, After paying this man R36000 in total and 6 months waisted,I have picture evidence of the invoice, the ridiculous invoice I wish nothing but the same in return, He will soon die and pass the legacy to his children, I Just want him to feel ripped and deceived and his time wasted as he did me, whatever you do never Go to Peters Auto Care, He his an OLD WHITE MAN with no conscience

Absolutely amazing service provided for my BMW. The service technician and the owner took such care from beginning to end in servicing my car. I was provided consistent updates while my car was being serviced and quoted accurately for the work being done in comparison to other related competitors being BMW itself (same parts, better service).I highly recommend this business over any others.

I took my car in for service 2 weeks ago at Peters Auto Car in Primrose East, Boksburg. Upon completion of the service my vehicle was taken offsite to a private carwash- a fact that had never been shared to me. While there a customer bumped into my car apparently while reversing; even though the pictures taken depict an incident with greater force. The conundrum now is that the owner of Peters Auto Care states that I should cover the cost of repairing my vehicle- R35000.00 through my insurance company as he is accepting no responsibility for my vehicle under his care and the 3rd party had no insurance. Then when I complain that not only is this incident not my fault but I have been been furnished with no details of the accident bar "your car has been bumped, here are the pictures",I am requested to write an email to his legal department which will then come to a decision within 6 weeks as to will they accept/ reject my claim that the business should take responsibility for my vehicle which had been placed under their care. In the meantime I've also been advised to come fetch my vehicle in its current state as it is still "driveable" when I asked about my form of transportation while they deliberated on my fate. This is the worst form of unacceptable customer service and no one should be giving business to this company that clearly has no regard for their customers.

First, some background. My wife twice took her car to Peters Auto Care for servicing. The first time, she noticed the morning after collecting her car that our garage floor was full of oil. It turns our Peter's "mechanics" had not put the sump plug back properly and all the oil ended up on the floor! The second time, when she got her car back there was a strange alarm when she turned on the ignition and all the dashboard lights flashed on and off. When I took it back to Peter, he had the cheek to ask me if the car wasn't "like that when we brought it in". Three visits later and the problem persisted until we had to go to an auto electrician to sort it out. Turns out Peter's "mechanics" had dislodged some of the fuses while conducting the service! On Monday, my BMW (Peter professes to be a German car expert) developed problem a few blocks from home. Because Peter is around the corner I decided to give him another chance and phoned him. He said he would come and have a look. In the interim, I phoned a good mate of mine, Ross Duncan -- who is also a BMW mechanic based in Midrand, and one I would highly recommend -- and explained my problem to him. He said it sounded like the fuel pump had packed up. This was also Peter's diagnosis on arriving at my car, but he said he would have to tow it (6 blocks) and put it on the diagnostics machine, after which he said he would phone me. Three hours and three phone calls from me later, he finally got back to me to say it was, indeed, the fuel pump but that they were difficult to get hold of and cost R5500 for the part alone. I told him I would get back to him and phoned Ross, who said they were a "nett" item at BMW, there were plenty in stock and they cost R3500. I phoned Peter back with this news and he confirmed he could get one for R3500 but the total for the job would be in the region of R6000. I asked him why and he said labour, towing and diagnostics (which he said took 2 hours) made up the balance. He towed my car for 6 blocks and Ross confirmed he charges R300 for diagnostics, which takes 30 minutes, and to replace the fuel filter is a matter of lifting a seat, removing a bolt and exchanging the old one for the new one, a job he said takes "10 to 15 minutes". The bottom line is I don't like being ripped off. I have put the word out to my mates and none of us will ever use Peter again, which means he lost about a dozen customers in the space of a day!
