Based on recent customer reviews, PG Glass struggles significantly across virtually all dimensions of service delivery. Customers consistently report broken promises, lack of communication, poor workmanship, and adversarial responses when things go wrong. While a handful of branches and named individuals deliver genuinely excellent experiences, the overwhelming pattern is one of systemic failure in scheduling, fulfilment, quality control, and complaint resolution that erodes trust across the brand.

I made a booking at PG Glass Wonderboom to have Smash and Grab app**** to a new vehicle. On arrival I was told that they cannot find the booking. I was sent home. I phoned the 012 548 4012 (Head Quarters) and was informed that there is a booking, and it is visible on the system. I went back. I was not received well, and the work was done with resentment. I received the vehicle back with the water marks on the inside of the door, water marks running from the window down. They did not even bother to wipe it clean or dry the watermarks. The current problem is that the tint that was app**** has bubbles in it. The back passenger windows (left and right) have the LLUMAR sign clearly visible in the middle of the window. Repeated 3 times across the window. I tried to book an appointment to get it fixed without any luck. I have phoned the Head Quarters (5 times) and explained my problem; I was put on hold at one stage for more than 30 mins without any luck. I have phoned the 0860 030303 number and was told that they will revert back to me without any luck. I have phoned 0878308123 not answered. I have sent an e-mail to Contact-us@pg.co.za, received automated response ID ##609119## but nothing further. I would like to have the Smash and Grab replaced or my money back. This is very poorly done, and the customer service is not the best. I paid cash for a job that is definitely not on standard. I waited 3 days for my Invoice.

Experienced the worst service from PG Glass Cape Road Port Elizabeth. Made a booking with them for 09:00 on Friday 13 March 2026 to replace the windscreen. I was told that the installation will take plus minus 3 hours. Dropped my vehicle with them at 08:50 and Informed them that I am initially from Cape Town and will be on foot as I have nobody to uplift me. They suggested that I can go to a nearby diner to have some breakfast which I then did. It is hot with no wind (surprisingly for PE). After breakfast I took a slow way back towards PJ Glass. At 10:30 I notice that my vehicle is still stationed in the parking bay where I left it. Assuming that they might have finished with the job and might wait for the sealant to settle, something in that regard. Across the road from PG Glass is an Engen garage so I quickly went over to get myself a cold cooldrink.after my purchase I went over to my vehicle only to find that they have not even moved the vehicle nor have they even started with the installation knowing that I am on foot in the heat. At 10:45 they took my vehicle and started with the installation. At 12:25 my wife phoned to inform me that they have told her that my vehicle is ready for collection. They know ****** well that I am sitting outside and did not even have the ***** to inform me that they have completed the job. After I paid for the installation the guy had the audacity to ask me if my vehicle is parked in front of the shop as if he does not know where my vehicle is. No one went with me to my vehicle to see if I am satisfied with installation nor did anyone explain to me on whether I can or cant drive with my windows open or how long it will take for me to remove the tape or how long it takes for the sealant to settle, absolutely nothing from them. Not a sorry for taking me for a pop regarding the delay, not a sorry for starting late with the job, again nothing, the guy was more concerned if I am paying cash or with a card. Not even sorry for not phoning me after I supp**** them with my number which they wrote down on the job card. No communication skills, no people skills, just money skills and that is my opinion and experience with PG Glass. If they tell you to bring in your vehicle at 09:00 when booked in advance, rather take it in at 11:00 or just take it to someone else that will be professional who will keep clients happy. If there was a option for not giving them a star, then that would've been my option.

PG Auto glass has taken weeks and weeks to supply the correct windscreen for my vehicle. The danger of having to drive with a crack running the width of the entire windscreen cannot be underestimated. Reaching out to the senior management was met with a refusal to take any calls , nor ensure any communication . nor assistance. Attitude such as this is disgraceful and unacceptable.

Service is terrible, the phones have connection problems, the systems are slow. My client has waited 2 weeks for a windscreen fitment. There were emails sent to confirm the number, follow up emails - and NO FEEDBACK was received unless you phone head office and the branch yourself.

PG autoglass had my vehicle at their Sandton branch supposedly waiting for spares. The branch manager repeatedly to me, telling time and time again that the incorrect spares had been sent amongst other stories. I went to check on my vehicle only to find it covered in a layer of dust and after speaking with other staff there, they informed me that nothing has been done on the vehicle and no parts had been ordered. Eventually organising the spares from a different supplier .Pg head office then informed me that they have changed their minds and will be undertaking the work. I have never dealt with such a ********* unprofessional company in my life.
