Poor Front Desk

With the assistance of OutSurance, a booking was made at PG Glass Menlyn to have my Hyundai Venue's windscreen replaced. I arrived well before the agreed time, only to be told by reception that it would take 2 to 3 hours as they were very busy. This was repeated by the person inspecting the vehicle; they had 3 cars waiting! I asked what the point was of making an appointment and stated that it appeared as if "walk-in customers" get preference! Within minutes of my making a few phone calls, a lady came to my assistance, and my windscreen was replaced within 40 minutes! Thank you to that lady!

The "new" Culture Club Familia, located in Totius Street, Groenkloof (Groenkloof Bowling Club), is a great addition. Plenty of free parking, Wheelchair accessible, children's play area, and most of all, great Greek food and more, plus a wood-fired Pizza oven. Professional and polite staff

No Parking at Kloof Hospital, Pretoria

Kloof Hospital in Pretoria has a serious parking problem. Returning for a post-surgery doctor's consultation, there was no parking available inside the hospital grounds, let alone designated wheelchair / disabled parking. People with no disability park their car in this designated area for hours on end. Make more parking available! Set up a ticket-issuing machine at the entrance to disabled parking, only allow 30 minutes parking or pay greatly increased fees or a fine!

"Tar Roads" in Pilanesberg Park

Great sightings, however, the "so-called" tarred road is in a total state of disrepair! There are so many potholes that one cannot avoid them. To add insult to injury, unopened bags of bitumen repair kits lie along the road! These were probably donated but never used! I would suggest that they rip up what remains of the tar and rather have gravel roads that are easier to maintain! The gravel roads were mostly in good condition!

Unbelievable value for money! No wonder they were voted the best Portuguese Restaurant in Pretoria. A "Hands-on" owner, manager, chef and floor manager, Filipe!

Bad experience

Are they understaffed or *********** waiters? It took ages to get service, and it took longer to wait for drinks! Wines advertised as "out of stock"? We were never approached by any Manager to enquire about our meal etc. Very expensive compared to similar restaurants.

Anyone travelling to or from White Rivwer/ Mombella should visit Kaapsche Hoop! A quaint village with Wild horses roaming the streets, good restaurants and unique shops! Visit Delitetful Glass Works on the corner of Kruger and Kantoor Streets. They sell a wide variety of handcrafted glass ornaments , the perfect gift! They can even manufacture to order.

Time Shar Sabie River Resort

Immaculate and attractive gardens, well-equipped and spotless accommodation - Timeshare. Fantastic service from Sibongile, Allocations!! The Golf Shop is well equipped and organised with polite, friendly efficient staff. The Golf Pub is an excellent choice with large-screen TVs to watch sports and enjoy refreshments. Sadly though, eating at the Resort was not up to standard - the Buffet on offer was dismal, especially the "Prawn" and Chicken curry ! Items shown on the Menu were unavailable due to "no stock" ?? Beer on Tap, only Castle Lite available ???? Food and Bev Manager, get your act together please.
