Terrible experience at Brooklyn Mall Simply Asia today! ***********, untrained staff, from "Manageress" down ! Two hours to be served Tom Yum soup and what was meant to be Chicken Satay with "peanut" sauce. One small piece of chicken per skewer, 4 skewers, R 65 ! The chicken was like rubber, Im sure it was boiled and then dumped into hot oil - not as I know a Satay! We couldn't taste the peanuts in the peanut sauce which, was just enough for 2 of the skewers, more was requested and billed R 15 !!!

We, for years, paid for the year in advance to obtain the "one month free" special offer and no increases in that year. With COVID and there being no sport on TV, we enquired if they were offering any fee reduction, Pensioners discount, etc. but they were not forthcoming with any relief! Based on their attitude, increased fees, and attitude, we did not pay for the new year, advised them accordingly, and switched off our DStv. Months later we received an account for around R 367, 99 ???? We have been inundated with calls from Debt Collectors, sent numerous email messages until, we thought, all had been resolved (November 2021) after receiving a phone call from the Debt Collectors confirming this. On selling our decoders, the new owner was informed that they could not be activated as there was an outstanding debt of R 800, 00 plus still outstanding. My most recent email messages go unanswered!!

Multi Direct Investments 157 trading as Feel at Home Properties can't even "cut and paste" a Lease Agreement for which they charge an Admin Fee of R 995, 00 !! They have a totally inappropriate Agreement for Lessees to sign! When questioned they, at first said we should not bother them with all our queries on a Friday !!?? They did not even bother to send Attachments referred to as "Conduct Rules" ! They offer a year-to-year Agreement subject to a new Agreement and associated costs and at a 10% increase, not inflation-related! They demand payment of Rent on the 1st day of the month and no other option! What if we are only paid on the last day of the month? They charge an Inspection Fee of R 950, 00 upfront whereas we will, in their presence, draw up an inspection report as we will be held liable for any discrepancies when moving out. The Agreement / Contact states that, when terminating the Lease, the Lessee will be liable for cleaning services at R 1 200, 00. All good, BUT, the Agent also states that the new tenant is liable for a Cleaning fee of R 1 200, 00 when moving in!!! Double-dipping! Everything is around "milking" the clients, telephone inquiries attract a fee of R 350, 00 !! Just one of many! I could go on and on !!!!
Dont EVER book and pay a deposit! We booked for a Botswana Tour , paid over R 13 000, 00 deposits for myself, my wife and my sister for her 70th birthday (an extra supplement for a single person). Then COVID 19 appeared with a total lockdown. They refused to return our deposits or even utilise them for another tour option !!!!
Can someone advise how one contacts a human at Kulula? I've tried calling their so called Helpline on many occasions without any reply ever! I have posted queries on their Web Page with no response! I have sent numerous e mail messages only to receive automated replies !!!
