Phoenix Group Holdings/Phoenix Realty Please do not do business with Property Practitioner Lindie Swart and Juan Botha. Still awaiting a refund from them after many requests. Our tenant paid them our deposit, and this was never paid back to us - a year after their services was terminated. And now their emails are returning and not answering calls.

I met him at an open house he had remodeled. Offered to represent me in both selling my house and buying one to remodel. Appeared helpful. Recommended a contractor who works under someone else's license. Workmanship was poor, used uns****ed labor, substituted materials and caused thousands of damages to the house. Brian also sold me an investment house to be flipped by the same contractor who didnt refund the deposit after not meeting deadlines. Brian Burgemeir and the contractor, whose license has been revoked, are partners. Most houses he sells are remodeled by his partner. Be aware of his contractor recommendations and do your own inspection before buying one of his remodels. He does not work on your behalf.

So, I connected this agency Phoenix Realtors around March looking for accommodation. The day I was supposed to move in, I was told the owner has decided to not rent out anymore. Ok, being the understanding person I'm... I give them few days to find me another place. Which they did. Only now, they didn't inform the new owner that they putting a tenant in her property. The owner came and caused drama at apartment and threatened to kick me out!!! I called the agent and she managed to eventually calmed her down and allowed me to stay. So the reason why the owner was upset was because one, she wasn't informed about me moving in and was not paid her deposit. So eventually the owner was paid my deposit and accepted that I stay in her apartment (on a month to month contract). After 3 mnths I decided to move from the apartment, I served my notice on time and left the place in really good condition. 2mnths later, I'm still struggling to get my deposit bac**** I had the worse experience with this agency! DO NOT USE THEM!!!

In May 2017 I listed my property on the private property site for rent. A month later (June 2017), a guy called me from Phoenix Realtors (Zyn Jardine) and enticed me into managing my property leases to which I agreed, he also had a tenant available to occupy immediately to which I agreed with a smile. I moved out of my property having explained to the Phoenix representative that I had to move some of my furniture into a storage and that the storage monthly rental would be sorted from the rent proceeds. He assured me that all will work out without any issues. From that month on I gave up all access to the house into the hands of Phoenix. A week after handing over my property to Phoenix Realtors mondeo offices, I communicated my intention to sell the property and we also agreed that phoenix would market my property at an agreed fee. In July 2017 I learned that the tenant had moved out and my property and left it partly vandalized and I was then charged for fixing the damages which I wasn't liable for. In August 2017 I signed the sale agreement and also pushed into signing the sole mendate to Phoenix for six months ending in December 2017. I was to receive rent income from the buyer on the 1st of every month until end December when the property would be sold and registered to the new owners. I had to drive to the Phoenix offices monthly in order to retrieve my rental income which I never received ontime and some times not receive the full months rental due to charges falsely imposed on me together with claims that my property wasn't in a good state. Due to this I lost my furniture due to none payment and also lost my job as I couldn't focus and perform as required due to stress from the Phoenix unprofessionalisym. It is now March 27, 2018 and the bond cancellation and registration has only taken place on March 22, 2018 and I have not received the proceeds from the property sale. I also cannot purchase an alternative property due to loss of income as well as the price my property would have been worth had I sold it in 2018. Phoenix Realtors should compensate me for the loss I have been put through financially, emotionally and also for the lies and charges for property damages I wasn't liable for, I also need compensation for the loss of my furniture. Phoenix Realtors should also pay me interest for the days at the prime rate from date if registration to the day the payment is to reflect in my account.

The agent I dealt with did absolutely nothing . I had to consistently follow up to find out what was going on, I had to fetch the keys from the seller by myself. The certificates of compliance weren't issued, so I had to follow up with the company, because Phoenix just didn't bother. I had to contact the sellers for occupational rent long after transfer, because Phoenix Realtors didn't let me know that the sellers were still in the house after the transfer went through and didn't let the sellers know they should pay occupational rent. Dealing with them was both stressful and tiresome and I to top it all, I had to buy my own bottle of champagne to celebrate my purchase, because they just couldn't care less about customer satisfaction. Avoid doing business with this company.

If something could have gone wrong with our purchase, it did. All of which could have been avoided had Phoenix Realtors done their job. We are now sitting with issues in our house that were hidden from us from the agents, not to mention the questionable transfer that took place with their full knowledge. I would strongly urge anyone to not use this company, as they will not take responsibility for their agents when they do questionable transactions. Rather deal with the estate agents that have been doing it for years, at least you know you'll get good service and everything will be above board.

As first time house buyers we would not recommend this company to anyone. Buying a new house should be an exciting experience for both the buyers and the sellers. Phoenix Realtors and their estate agents made sure that this would not be the case. I could write a massive rant on why these people are truly terrible real estate agents but I trust that others will make the right choice by choosing literally anyone else on this planet to help buy or sell their house. P.S. We didn't even receive a bottle of champagne on the day of key handover :(

Zyn phoned us telling us he has the perfect property for us and it is on show Sunday 22 October. We planned our Sunday around this. Since 19 October we have been asking for the address in order to just drive past and get a feel for the place. Till date we are still waiting for the address. On Sunday 22 October 2017 we tried phoning and whatsapping Zyn, but he has switched off his phone. So we still have not seen the property or heard from Zyn. I will not recomend that anyone use them as they are not reliable at all.
