Good day I am a Discovery patient trying to schedule a mammogram at the Pink Ribbon, Parkmore Branch in Sandton. Since August 7th, I have had four appointments scheduled with Thobile — on August 7th, 13th August, 22nd September, and 29th September, all of which have been cancelled. Today, I received a call from Chantel cancelling the most recent appointment (29th September) and rescheduling it for the 6th of October. Initially, I was informed that a mobile machine was available. Later, I was told it had broken down and could not be used. 3 weeks ago, I was then informed that a new machine had arrived from overseas and was being installed, only to be told today that the machine has not yet arrived in the country. As a Discovery client, I find this situation both frustrating and misleading. It has become increasingly difficult to continue rescheduling appointments that are repeatedly cancelled without clear or consistent communication. Unfortunately, this reflects poorly on the level of service at the Parkmore Pink Ribbon branch. I kindly request that this matter be investigated urgently and that I receive a clear and accurate update on when the mammogram service will be reliably available.

Highly professional and skilled. Diagnosed breast cancer in my friend less than a centimetre in size. Means good prognosis. I would highly recommended this centre. Their number is 0837110296

This clinic is a total ****! After spending R50k on multiple biopsies, only for them to come back as inconclusive is atrocious. I went for a second opinion to an oncologist who was mortified at the trauma I had gone through only to see all of the test results and explain to me how they all indicated that the biopsies were inconclusive was very shocking for me. I then went for an MRI, to find out I actually have benign tumors (thankfully) in both sides and multiple cysts, to which the previous doctor had not mentioned par for the one I was told kept needing biopsies. I am absolutely devastated by the amount of money I spent thinking this clinic and doctor knew what they were doing. Please do not go to this clinic!

What could have been a positive review due to the fact that consultation was good, has instead turned into a negative experience due to the way they handle payment refunds. I had to pay a few thousand (rand) upfront for an unexpected medical procedure at Pink Ribbon and unfortunately medical aid reimbursed the Dr instead of patient. And that's when the back n forth started. It took over two months to get my money refunded by the Dr despite numerous phone calls and emails. I was eventually told in mid-July that I would be refunded at month end....zero concern for the financial implications such delays could have. Very disappointing and unprofessional.
