No refunds at Playground Cresta. Bought selfie stick 01 October 2022 noticed charging port of stick totaly off-centre. Took selfie stick back within hour off bought it They ordered another one but unfortunately not same color. I refuse accept pink stink. Never heard of them until went to store 23Oct22 when I arrived they wanted to give me same stick I have returned. Sales person referred me to African guy, don't know if he is manager but he was very arrogant and said they don't do refunds and when I told him about consumer act, was more adamant they have their own policies of not refunding. Please people stay away!!

I went to this Consumer electronics shop in Cresta Mall it is called by the above mentioned name.I wanted a screen guard for my Samsung galaxy Note 8,I paid R350 for it but the quality of work they did was below standard in 3days the screen guard was coming off. I went back they put a second one which was not properly done again.In 2days it was showing signs of it not being properly applied.I dont have the time nor the desire to go back there again.I dont want them thinking I'm a problematic customer.To those who want their phones protected try Gudget Candy kiosks within the malls they are much better.You will get value for your money. I LOST MY MONEY FOR PATHETIC SERVICE.

My iPhone X screen had a problem so I decided to take it to the Playground store in Melrose Arch to get it fixed. When I got there they requested R3800 to fix it. Comparing prices with other stores it was cheaper. They fixed my phone and it was working okay until the following month. I sent it back, they charged me another R1900. They said it was to repair the LCD. It went off again the following week after being replaced..I sent it back...it became a weekly thing. I got fed up and told them I want my money back. They refused and decided to transfer the problem to not been a screen problem but a mother board problem. I asked them why they didn’t tell me that it was a motherboard problem before they took my money and decided to do what they did. This was 2 weeks ago...I feel robbed and this was unfair customer service

I bought a usb from Playground Cresta. I threw away the packaging but I have the slip. The usb does not work and is faulty! When I contacted Playground they ignored my multiple emails. When I threatened to review them on Hello Peter they replied that they will have a look only if I have the packaging. They basically sold me faulty goods and will not refund me the money thereby stealing from me. They know they are wrong by ignoring me. I find this behaviour disgusting and basically means their goods are inferior.

<p>I would like to log a complaint against the service from Playground shop at the Cresta shopping centre with the hope that many more people send in their complaints about their service and would you consider not renewing their rental agreement.</p> <p>We purchased a headphone for my son for Christmas which does not work on his PC a few days (less than 7 days) after Christmas we tried returning the headphones and because the box is torn a bit on the lid the saleslady at the PLAYGROUND shop at Cresta Shopping Centre refuse to exchange it for a cheaper headphone and keep the R400 for the damage to the box. They refused to get the owner to contact us or provide us with the owner’s name to assistance and explain their exchange policy. There is no notice in the shop that states that if the box is torn they will refuse to exchange the article.</p> <p> </p>
