When I walked in, both staff members were on their phones and didn’t greet or acknowledge me. The person who eventually assisted me took almost 40 minutes to post just two packages because he was busy singing and dancing throughout the process. It felt very unprofessional and frustrating to watch while trying to get a simple task done. Definitely not the kind of service I expected from PostNet.

I couriered two items, a winter blanket and a brand new iPhone 13 still in a box through Postnet Mall of the South on Friday 4 July 2025 around 17:00. Nomusa was my assistant. I had a guy feeling of just not trusting her but she assured me that my item is safe for economy courier. As i started tracking following Tuesday, my item never moved from being collected by Amarex. Today is 11 July and my item cannot be located. I had to endure nonchalant arrogant assistant from Wednesday he put me on hold twice when i called to do a follow up. Today i am told they are still waiting for a Manager to review surveillance cameras— no sense of urgency at all. The way the staff is so desensitised on my losses is shocking, it’s almost like it’s normal and they rush to tell that i can claim. The phone is on a Vodacom contract and I will have to pay for a phone that is not in my use.

My name is Thokozile. Thabo needs to be taken for customer service he is very arrogant 🙄 I don't think I will ever step my foot to that Postnet. Next time I will go to Postnet Panorama.

I sent a package for my grandson via postnet. The item was never delivered. They would pay an amount of R1000. The items cot me over R3000. They also required receipts to pay the R1000. Clearly they watch what you package and steal your items. there are no repercussions. Needless to say, i am telling anyone who I come into contact with to never use them...
