Dear Telkom Customer Care and Amazon Prime Video Support, I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the 3-month Amazon Prime Video promotion that was advertised as part of my Telkom 5G Internet 40 Mbps contract. When my contract was activated, Telkom sent me an email informing me that I qualify for three months of Prime Video and that I should look out for a second email to activate the promotion. However, I never received the activation email or any activation link. I have contacted Telkom and Prime Video support multiple times (more than four occasions), and each company has referred me back to the other, stating that the issue is not their responsibility. This has left the matter unresolved. Since this promotion formed part of the Telkom contract offering, I request that the issue be resolved as soon as possible by either: Sending the correct activation link for the Prime Video promotion, or Manually activating the three-month Prime Video benefit on my account. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate the complaint to the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) as well as the Consumer Protection authorities. Please confirm receipt of this complaint and provide a solution within a reasonable timeframe. Kind regards, Mervin Skeef
