I paid the company REDELINGHUYS LAW twice by error for an account that had been handed over to them and was in arrears. I have been following up since the beginning of November 2017 for my refund but they have still not given me back my money! Gerald de Winnaar (Legal recoveries manager) asked me to provide proof of payment which I did but since then every time I call him to follow up he deliberately avoids my calls and does not return them. I've sent him countless emails but he doesn't bother responding. His receptionist has such a terrible attitude, she laughed at me when I voiced my dissatisfaction at the manner this matter is being handled. For a law company, they absolutely have no ethics and values. They are clearly a small time company pouncing on people's vulnerabilities. Regards, Tiko
I applied for a loan at Nedbank in Greenstone Mall which was provisionally approved. I also received an SMS notification of the approval. I then went to the bank on Saturday morning with my ID to finalize the approval, to my surprise I was then told by the consultant (Lucky) that the loan had In fact been declined. He did not bother explaining and he promised to get back to me on Monday, he didn't. The level of service or lack of is appalling to say the least. The amount of inconvenience you have caused me is immeasurable.
<p>My car was involved in an accident on the 1st of May 2016, it was then subsequently written off after it was assessed. Miway then established that my car was insured for a market value of 125k. With every person I dealt and followed up with, I kept asking the market value and they all confirmed it at R125k up till a day before they were supposed to pay out the credit shortfall of R8500, where they suddenly changed their story to say it is actually covered for R108K. Cidelia Barker was the claims advisor who was handling my claim, I asked her to pull all our telephonic conversations so that I could prove to her that Miway said my car was covered for R125K, she said it would take a week to go through all the telephone recordsand she would then get back to me. She never bothered! I had to constantly chase and follow up without any success. I eventually got hold of her today and she could not even remember who I was or what I was following up on and her attitude was that of person who couldn't care less!! It turns out that Miway still hasn't settled the difference with the bank since they wrote off my car and I am struggling to get finance approval for a new car because of Miway's incompetence and attrociuos service!! I've had to constantly follow up without anyone bothering to explain to me why they have not settled with the bank and why they have quoted an incorrect amount on the market value of the car. I would strongly and vigorously advise against signing up with Miway!! They are incompetent. they make empty promises, and Cidelia just never gets around to solving anything!! If anything, you'll get an attitude and a person who just isn't interested in your queries. I have a son and wife who depended on my vehicle to drop them off at school and work, I have since had to resort to using taxis with my 2 year old son in this cold winter weather because Miway have not bothered doing anything about this situation and I can't get a new vehicle because they haven't settled the remaining balance with the bank! Sign up or take up insurance with them at your own peril!</p>
