Carina Mandelstam is a joke be careful of this place
The rudest bunch of people you will ever come accross. Be extremely careful when dealing with Carina Mandelstam she will belittle you on your past whe you try and fix it. And when you say you are going to complain "she says I've been working here 17 years" so go ahead. As if she is untouchable. When you complain to the ownere J.H Reedlinghuis aka Pieter he doesn't even respond because he is a lawyer with a law firm and is above the law.. This place should be shut down and his rights to practice should be revoked.. Not a single good comment to be found on any platform

Dubious, ill mannered, vulgar.
Pieter Redelinghuis is extrapolating as much money as possible from clients, and uses bad temper to get rid of unfinished business. Apart from his vulgar smoking habit, his verbal manners leave much desired. He does have manners, but they are all bad. Treat carefully here. He’s the type that wouldn’t return your bail receipt probably to pocket the money for himself. I’ve reported him to the Law Society of South Africa as I was smart enough to record and archive all my correspondence with him.

Shocking service. My doctors account of approximately R3000, but ended up paying R10 080 on my account. The balance was an all for client and lawyer cost (R7 080). After settling the account in ful, there had to be a process to remove the judgement from my name from on ITC. When i Approached ITC, they told me that only the acting lawyer could remove the judgement by completing the correct form and then sending it to them. The form is still not signed my Pieter Redinghuys and also not forwarded to ITC. When I phoned him to ask why the form has not been forwared to ITC. He words to me was "who's responsibility is it, is it not jou responsibility? Now, why would ITC tell me that the lawyer has to do the request. Secondly, I have paid R7 000 rand to him for client laywer cost. They have being promissing me two weeks, going into the third week to have this resolved. THE SERVICE IS APPALLING, THE PEOPLE ARE IGNORANT, NON CARING. IT LEAVES A LOT TO DESIRE ABOUT THEIR WORK ETHICS

Negligence for an legal office is not a good trait
Unwilling to provide information. No communication. Negligent!! They ignore my request for an invoice! they have the information on my summons incorrect and dont know what to do about it, they have to consult it with someone. Apparently my daughter received medical services before she was even born. They were not giving me my 10 days to defend until i told them they would be reported to the council, they didnt even bother to respond to that mail with a few other facts. AND to top it all i got the summons almost a year late AND I had already paid the doctor before the date of the summons. I paid them the amount given to avoid being listed so lets see if i receive a refund....

Bad attitude, devious and unethical company
I paid the company REDELINGHUYS LAW twice by error for an account that had been handed over to them and was in arrears. I have been following up since the beginning of November 2017 for my refund but they have still not given me back my money! Gerald de Winnaar (Legal recoveries manager) asked me to provide proof of payment which I did but since then every time I call him to follow up he deliberately avoids my calls and does not return them. I've sent him countless emails but he doesn't bother responding. His receptionist has such a terrible attitude, she laughed at me when I voiced my dissatisfaction at the manner this matter is being handled. For a law company, they absolutely have no ethics and values. They are clearly a small time company pouncing on people's vulnerabilities. Regards, Tiko

Complain about the service - Refund
Hello there, i would like to complain about the company called Redelinghuys Attorneys based in Randfontein in JHB. I was the client through the hospital bill that was sent them to collect on behalf of the hospital. I do not even know how the bill was sent to them anyway be cause we never received a communication from the hospital to say that our account will be handed over to them. the amount was less than R2000. SO we went there to inquire after receiving summons and they told us that they have been communicating with us through emails and calls and letters through post. We requested proof of sms and calls and the proof of post we realised that the address they sent to was incorrect. We then agreed on a settlement amount and it was around +- R1500 to pay. We then paid R500 each month on the last month there was around +- R150 to be paid and we paid R500. This was in February this year. We then followed up and they asked our banking details to deposit the refund. Till today there is no refund. The manager at first said they are reconciling the account and i asked why because we were already given the settlement amount, she never replied since then,i have proof of email emails and when i call she is always busy and promise to call back but she does not. i called yesterday the same thing happened and the receptionist says she gave the numbers to her and she said she will call me. i never received her call yesterday and i called again to day the same thing happened. The number is ********** . I am not sure whether to disclose the manager's name and the receptionist. I just need my refund
