Ordered an item online in April 2026. After several queries (they do not answer their customer care line number) I got through to someone who said the courier will collect my order today and deliver in the next few days... a week later I get an e-mail: sorry the item was actually out of stock. They will refund me within 7 days. Almost a month later, I have not been refunded. E-mail after e-mail, call after call... no reply and no money. ARC presents itself as being this upper class cosmetic store selling upmarket cosmetics... at the root, just another example of bad South African service delivery, "uppety" cosmetics or not... By the way.... they dont een deserve one star. Had to click the star to be able to write the review!
Shocking service from a Senior Business Manager at Randburg Branch. I emailed a query to her after being advised she is not available at the branch. I then called to confirm the query was e-mailed. She said she will check her mails. That was Monday. On Wednesday I called to follow up and she said she had not received the mail. I asked why I wasnt called so I could re-send. No reply. Answers her mobile phone "Hello" and sniffs in my ear the whole time... this is a Senior Business Banker that is suppose to look after my portfolio... C'mon FNB. I have now closed my account.
I cancelled my Netstar subscription on 24 January 2025 already. I have been harassed by them for payment, though I gave them 30 days notice as they required. Every agent that calls and the collection agency they have appointed to harass me, has been given the reference number I was given when I gave them the 30 days notice to cancel... it makes no difference and the matter has not been resolved. I have sent numerous e-mails on their request with the refence number... no resolution. In fact, Netstar, before I cancelled, deducted the monthly premium by way of debit order on the last day of the month; now, since cancelling, the allow a deduction on the 25th of each month off my account. I have to reverse the payment each time and I carry the bank charges for this. They were, in addition, suppose to come and remove the tracking device from my vehicle on the anniversary of the 30-day period... not a soul has been here and it already June! Never used to get invoices (via e-mail or post) from them. Since cancelling they send an invoice each month. Laughable to say the least. They never had to track my vehicle, thankfully so they made pure profit off me. Can they at least now get their house in order; cancel the subscription and stop taking money from me via, what seems to be a newly established debit order. Oh and come and remove your device please.
<p>Nedbank 's service fees are ridiculously high and you would think that for that they could at least render service that matches their service fees! Think again! Been banking with them for over 20 years - hold a Business account with them and they have now, in the last 6 months' frozen the account twice due to an error on their side. For days you struggle to get a business banker at the Clearwater Branch to assist. The Branch Manager is always in a meeting and in the meantime I cannot run my business properly as I have no access to my account. FNB is starting to look very attractive...</p>
