A joke of a facility. Blatant negligence of my 60 year old mother who went there after a knee replacement opp. They administered medication that was prescribed to another patient for 4 days before noticing the name on the bottle was not that of my mothers. This resulted in her blood pressure going through the roof and causing her to feel faint and ill. They have construction workers working over her bed while she is still in it ! They didn't help her shower for a whole day as the person responsible was "on a tea break". Not to mention them taking samples from her and misplacing it, the list goes on. If you are looking for a supportive step down facility, this is not the one for you....
Saturday the 10th of April, my sister and I ordered the nuggets from Mcdonald's and both of us got violently ill with me being rushed to hospital after battling for the entire evening with my stomach. I have never been as ill as I was this evening with vomiting, diarrhea, body aches, chills and fainting. I had been battling from 11pm that evening and struggled up until I was rushed to the emergency room at 10am the following day. I could not even walk and was immediately put on a drip. My doctor advised me that it could only have been food poisoning and since I had only eaten one meal that day, the nuggets, and that I was the 3rd person to be in there that week with food poisoning from Mcdonald's. It took me a while to recover and I realized I had to say something because if this had happened to a pregnant lady, elderly person or someone who does not have access to health care, it could have been much worse. Food poisoning can be fatal and so I notified the branch manager for the Lemon tree branch and all I was looking for was an acknowledgment that they will have a look at their food and processes. Instead, I was met with immediate denial with the branch manager insisting it was not the food from her restaurant, that if it didn't happen 4 hours after consumption then it wasn't her food (she isn't a doctor btw) and then in the same breath tried pinning it on what I ate for breakfast (which I didn't have breakfast that day). I reached out to the head office on FB and have been told I would be contacted however I haven't heard a thing. I think it is ridiculous that a restaurant chain can almost cost people their lives by serving old or contaminated food and not have a care in the world. Mcdonalds customer service is disgusting as well as their old poisonous food.
Hi Computicket. Thank you for making the booking of disabled tickets so extremely impossible. Andrea Bocelli tickets went on sale Friday and we could not book online instead we were directed to enter a form or call the customer care line. I entered the form and your lines were down. I then went to Checkers early morning to see if I could book directly there, the lovely ladies at checkers called you and someone took down my details (name , number , email ) and advised me that they have reserved four tickets (2 disabled , 2 assistants) and that someone will call me when its time to collect the tickets and pay. Monday came around and I hadn't received a call yet so I called your customer care line and the lady that assisted me advised that you have my details and someone would call me within the week I shouldn't worry. It is now Thursday so I called you guys again only to be told my tickets are not listed down on the system and that disabled tickets are now sold out and I should go back to checkers which I did. Again , your staff advised there is nothing they can do , despite the fact that I have given you my details for bookings on 3 separate occasions , and that should additional tickets become available , I will be contacted for bookings, which clearly worked out so magical the first time , I should trust it will work again. Thank you for making my 87 year old Grandmothers dream of seeing her favorite artist completely out of reach. Your service is shocking and if you cannot handle the admin it takes to effectively book disabled tickets then maybe you shouldn't offer them in the first place
<p>To add to my previous post about Nedbank blocking my account with no correspondance that they were going to , I now am getting calls from ALL of the companies that have to debit my account , saying that my account is frozen and they cannot debit me which means I will be double debited next month. </p> <p> </p> <p>If no compensation is given for this "Technical error"which apparently cannot be reversed within the next 2 to 3 days I will definitely be moving to a new bank as soon as possible.</p>
