December 2022 Your embarkation in Cape Town harbor is total chaos – and no provision made for your guest that needs to stand in que’s in the hot sun? On board service was appalling, with 80% of the reception staff, that can hardly speak a word of English, how do you expect your cruise clients to have an amazing cruise if your staff don’t even understand them? The service at the bar, is so slow, with absolute no effort being put in any drinks made. Not one drink ordered, tasted the same – I’m sorry, but that is below standard. The restaurant staff – no communication whatsoever!!!! You try and squeeze to many people in at a table, making it impossible to breath never mind eat, but half the other tables are empty. Food is dry & cold when it gets to the table, and drinks only gets to the table when supper is just about over. Is this acceptable for the prices we pay? Cabin From day one, our aircon was faulty – once again not acceptable. We had to wait forever for our luggage, and my suitcase was damaged beyond repair (once again your reception was of no help) I had to carry a broken suitcase when I left. The overall cleanliness of the ship was sub standard, and the maintenance not done well. I became a voyager member for a reason, and that was to enjoy what MSC had to offer, but now I feel that you are taking advantage of peoples well earned money, and promising them a cruise experience which you can’t deliver. UNFORTUNATELY - I have a second cruise coming up with a bunch of friends, that has been planned since MAY 2022, and you are not interested in doing anything to help us if we need to change anything on our booking. This is a group of 9 people which you are just wiping under the carpet.
A better experience than this could never be asked for. A lovely setting for 2, with a the most beautiful sunset, absolutely stunning! Attention to detail, atmosphere that makes you want to stay. Staff is like a breath of fresh air.
We first made use of them in March, just before the lockdown, they just about trippled their price to expedite our move so that we could be in Cape Town before lockdown. My husband's motorbike was damaged (which they eventually paid for in September), and there were some of my boxes missing but that was never mentioned. My sister moved here July - her fridge and wall unit was damaged, till today nothing was done about it, they have a million excuses. My son moved here end August - if I had known he booked his move through this company I would have stopped it immediately. They quoted him to move his household and motorbike on the Friday. They only arrived the Saturday, and to top it all off, they never loaded the motorbike which was included in the price. We had to pay EXTRA AGAIN to get his furniture moved, and had to get another company to transport his motorbike to Cape Town. They claim that the motorbike is old and weighs 400kg - that is wrong as NO bike can weigh that much, if it did, you would not be able to ride it. This company quotes, you accept the quote, they load your furniture and then they load the price and you have no choice but to pay!
Before signing the contract to purchase the house, they made us promises and giving us time limits etc. Now nearly 3 months later - nothing has happened! Sue denies that she ever said anything, which is even worse, cause now she is making us out to be liars! Never in my life will I ever buy any property through this company. They play nice to get you to sign on the dotted line, thereafter it's a whole different ball game. In my honest opinion, they are very unethical in what they do.
Extremely dissappointed in Fitbit. My versa has stopped giving me my heart rate, they've agreed to replace my device. But then sent me a mail stating that due to the device not being manufactured they can't send me a replacement.
Had passport photos taken asked them if they can put it on a memory stick. They charged me R70 for my photos and then an extra R60 to transfer onto memory stick. If this was the case for just one, yes... but we were a family of 3 and they charged per person for a jpeg.. egat a rip off.
<p>We bought a JVC "smart tv" from them 27/05. Only had it installed now recently. But... this tv only has certain apps, you cant stream via showmax / netflix, which i specifically spome about. The sales person told me it's a "smart tv" and can do everything. Now they refuse to exchange the tv for a product that will actually work.</p> <p> </p>
<p>On signing a wireles uncapped contract with Nepic +/- 3 months ago, we were promised a SUPER FAST internet connection, super fast download speed etc.</p> <p>The last months, the internet has been more OFF than on. I've e-mailed them, left messages but there seems to be no one in charge interested enough to try and sort out this problem. </p> <p> </p>
