After paying the monthly contribution for my medical aid for 22 years and not missing a month, I was informed today that my medical aid was suspended with immediate effect. This is due to a non-payment in March. I appealed unsuccessfully to the consultant and the supervisor and was told that "these are the rules." I asked for a period of three days' grace so I could follow - up and get to the bottom on why there was not a March payment. This was declined. Ruthless, graceless, cold, callous and cruel would be a fair description of how Discovery dealt with me. .
Just try to get hold of a consultant over a weekend... or anytime...near impossible!!!
I received an email from DSTV (July 19) informing me that my Price Lock contract comes to an end and I can sign up for 'Premium 24,' by sending an SMS "Yes" to 31065. I did. No response!! I went on DSTV facebook page (August 13) and inquired again. The consultant said my request will be escalated. ****il now... no response!) August 21. I received an email from DSTV informing me, (once again) that my price Lock contract can be renewed. I facebooked the DSTV page again and was asked if I had a reference number... I did not receive one. They promised to follow up and a few hours later I received a reply informing me that they have sent the 'settlement plan' to an email address I have no knowledge of. Seriously DSTV how keen are you for me to make use of your Price lock contract?
For over a month I have time and again requested Webafrica to resolve my slow internet line. I was passed on from one consultant to another. No one has followed through or took responsibility to resolve the problem.
<p>In my experience this company does not honour their core values as advertised on their website. Professionalism, reliability and service excellence is simply is not adhered to. I am sorry we made use of KAMS Glass and Aluminium.</p>

Send by email a copy of your ID and bank statement. (Certified) Proof of address and proof of income.</p> <p>I did but...since when does an application get approved and then request documentation a week later. Come on DSTV!!! </p> <p> </p>

Ref. number 955009</p> <p>There was a quick response and application was reinstated. and then declined again.</p> <p>At no stage was an apology offered for the lack of communication and lack of professionalism. When FNB did communicate in email, it lacked professionalism. An email to a potential client should never be addressed as "Hi, " </p> <p> </p>
