I regret not reading the reviews about this scam of a company before purchasing anything. I bought and received an item that was not 100% in line with what was advertised. I logged a return and was asked to send pics. I sent the pics to a whatsapp number over a month ago but everytime I call they say they are waiting for me to send pics before the return can be processed?! The person managing their whatsapp definitely received my pics because I received a reply to my first message but for some reason, the idiot is not doing his job and logging my pics. And now because of their incompetence, my return isn't being processed. I honestly don't know what to do anymore. I keep calling every few days but it's always the same bull**** about waiting for pics even though it was sent and received ages ago and resent multiple times. I am tired of having the same conversation every single time with nothing being done. Can't even speak to a manager. I'm told it's escalated but nothing happens. This is clearly a company that wants to scam people by avoiding returns so that they don't have to process refunds. Surely a registered company cannot get away with this!?
I've logged fraud cases early June with FNB. It is now near end of July and I still have not received any feedback from FNB. Not even a call to tell me the outcome. I've tried to call myself but I am on hold for more than 30 mins before I eventually give up and end the call. Always the same "high call volumes" story on the line. And it is not the first time that FNB does not give feedback. I also logged a fraud case in Feb and I never ever received any feedback from FNB on it until I eventually forgot about it.
I paid this guy a deposit to deliver on services he promised such as tiling, painting ,etc. However, he never pitched and kept making excuses and now he ignores my calls when I ask for my money back. I don’t know how many posts I need to make about this damn issue but I am frustrated beyond my wits. I requested to cancel my line and it was never processed so I reversed my debit orders. Telkom kept accruing the bill to my account and eventually listed me as a default on experian. Now I have debt collectors calling me all the time for money I shouldn't have to pay. I have logged numerous complaints but there is still no resolution in this matter. Last year in August I sent through a cancellation form to Telkom to cancel the LTE product I had with them. I called the call center numerous times thereafter as well as sent multiple emails to find out when the cancellation will be done. All I was told was that this was being processed and I must send the form again and that there’s a 30 day notice period and that I would be debited for September as well. However, the cancellation was never processed as I was still being billed every month. Therefore, due to the slow processes at Telkom, I started reversing the debit order that was going off my account every month from October onwards as I was not using their LTE product and they had not cancelled my account despite me following the correct process. Today I receive a call from a debt recovery company where the guy explained that the cancellation was not processed because I had reversed the invoice for October which was apparently a cancellation fee of the same amount as my monthly invoice of R699 (which nobody told me about). And then he threatened me to say that I need to pay the entire amount due from October onwards which is almost R4000 otherwise they will blacklist me. I find this to be so unfair as I was never told about the cancellation fee and I have not been using their product from September. And now I’m being threatened and forced into making full payment for something that was not any fault of mine. This is unfair and I cannot afford the full amount. How can a company just do as they please and blacklist someone even if the customer is not the one in the wrong?!
I am so sick of Telkom and their incompetence! Worst company ever! Why the hell are you still debiting my account for a service I am not using? I sent through numerous emails towards the end of last year with th cancellation form, made multiple calls to the call center, and even wrote about 4 reviews here on hellopeter, all to get the month to month LTE service I had cancelled. This has still not been done and the bill has still been accruing. You can do what you want on your side but I will not be paying for a service I have not been using and asked to be cancelled. So stop debuting my account!!

In August I sent through a cancellation form to Telkom to cancel the LTE smartbroadband plan I was which was a month to month plan. It is now November and despite numerous calls to the call center, emails, etc., this is still not resolved and I am still being billed for a service I have not been using for the past months. I have made a post about this before and I will continue making posts each day if this matter is not resolved ASAP! I can’t deal with this incompetence any longer. I keep getting responses here but it ends there. No action is taken, I do not get any calls or sms saying something has been done. And I signed up for a month to month plan, not a 24 month contract! Show me the sign up form which says 24 month contract?!! As usual, you guys are full of kak. If it was a 24 month contract, why didn’t I receive a device?!?! Stop delaying this any further.

On the 15th of August, I emailed a cancellation request form for my month to month LTE product that I have. I received an email back with case number ********** 5 however, it is now September and still no action from Telkom. I’ve called few times and each time I’m told the matter will be escalated but nothing has been done. I called today and was told that the case was closed. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to cancel with Telkom. I’ve had issues with every product that I have with them when it comes to cancelling!! Please assist ASAP!
