Laurette was very patient to help me update my policy and phoned back multiple times due to the line breaking up due to my bad reception.
Having worked with multiple estate agents over the past few months it was refreshing to work with Paul du Preez who were open and honest and went the extra mile for us. Even though we did not end up renting the property shown to us by Paul (only due to another property being closer to our requirements), I would not mind working with Paul or VD5 in future for any property related matters.
Unfortunately Everyshop turned out to be everything online shopping should not be. This was my first time ordering from them and is extremely disappointed with the service I am getting from Everyshop. I placed an order on 12/12/2021, however decided to phone and cancel the order on 14/12/2021. According to the tracking the package has not been picked, so I was hoping the cancellation would be easy and that I would definitely at this point then at a later stage order from them again, as the website and pricing was good. I was however told that the order can't be cancelled and that I should wait for the package to be delivered and then log a return. I was okay with this process and understood that there is a process and system that needs to be followed, even if it didn't make a lot of sense. 03/01/2022 I still haven't received the package and logged another call for a cancellation as the delivery status was still in the same status of not yet picked. I was told that they will follow up. On 06/01/2022 I received an email that my package was delivered, however I didn't receive anything. I understood it that the process was fast tracked so that I could log a return. This was however not the case and I was asked to send pictures of the item that I wanted to return. After informing Everyshop that I didn't get the delivery they tried to find out where the delivery was done. Today, 19/01/2022, after many emails to their support, them phoning me a couple of times to ask if I have the package, my return being cancelled, them not responding to my last email of 14/01/2022 and a whole lot of frustration, I am now writing this review as I have exhausted all other options to communicate with Everyshop directly to get a refund.
Always friendly and helpful service. Recently spoken to Elardus van Staden who quickly assisted with my query and offered more information and assistance on items I didn't know about yet.
<p>I went to Duesouth at The Grove mall in Pretoria on Saturday, 9 July, and tried to buy an Osprey bag. The marked price was R1099, however when I got to the till the system read the price as R1499. The store manager then informed me that the area manager will have to approve the marked price. After waiting for about 15 minutes in the store I was informed that they can't get hold of the area manager and that there is no one else that can approve the transaction. After I was given the impression that there is nothing they can or want to do to help me, I asked if they can keep on trying and contact me as soon as they get hold of the area manager. I wrote down my contact details and was assured that they will give me a call by the end of the day. I also stressed the fact that I am in need of the bag urgently and that I would appreciate quick feedback.</p> <p> </p> <p>By Sunday 11h00 I didn't receive any communication, so I went back to the store. I was then told that they still couldn't get hold of the area manager and also that they didn't feel that it was important to give me a call with an update on the situation. After some fruitless conversation I was assured that they will definitely get hold of the area manager on Monday and that they will give me a call.</p> <p> </p> <p>So Monday came and went by without any communication from Duesouth. Today, Tuesday, I decided to give them a call at 14h00 after I still haven't heard anything from them. I was then assisted by a very helpful and friendly staff member. He didn't know of the incident and after a prompt investigation from other staff, informed me that they did get hold of the area manager, but that he/she did not approve on the wrongfully marked price. The only thing the guy assisting me could do was appologize on behalf of the rest of the team.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is probably the worst service I ever received at any retail store! They couldn't even keep me updated on the situation and then I had to contact them just to find out that even the area manager couldn't care less about giving service to clients! i have been a client for more than 5 years now, but I'm sure I won't set my foot again in any Duesouth especially not the one in The Grove and I will make sure that no one else does! Unless they are looking for terrible service.</p>
