Standard bank insurance has always been efficient in my particular past experience. HOWEVER, about 6 months ago my geyser needed to be replace after bursting. It was promptly done by a company who was sent out by standard bank the same day. The following day we heard pipes rattling in the ceiling. We called the insurance call centre again and again, over months. They sent out 3 different plumbing companies, none did anything. Each told us there was a different problem. Now after promising to have it sorted by end of 2021, the water had stopped running into certain faucets and is instead running into the overflow tray in the ceiling. Payment to standard bank was without default on 2 properties in 5 years but they can't get to helping us. Once this issue is sorted, I will be promptly switching to another service provider! Please think twice before using them.
What a rubbish company. My property registered but Pamela Edward's and her principal, Neels Potgieter, will not give us our keys as the seller is family to this agent. Beyond the wise service you could ever get. In fact, I'm sure this is illegal! Rubbish people in a rubbish company.
They outsource their upgrade departments to a company called cell networks,where no one answers a phone or email, and then when you want to cancel, they say they cant help but MTN will continue to take your money. They're a rip off!
I wanted a decent doctor's play set for my 2 year old so I went to Toy Kingdom in Clearwater mall. What a disappointment! I spent R150 on the toy set and within 2 minutes of opening it (we hadn't even left the parking lot) it was breaking, bending and falling apart. I've found better quality toys at Crazy Store and China Mall. I will never purchase from there again and I will make a special effort to warn my family and friends to take their business elsewhere.
I visited casualty today. A colored man whose name I did not get needed to take a urine sample from my child. We are Indian and he proceeded to put on a very bad condescending Indian accent whilst dealing with us. Racist! Bad sense of professionalism. I don't need to deal with such whilst my child needs medical assistance!
I purchased a chest of drawers from Fair Price, Southgate. The product was of terrible quality ( water marks, stained, chipped drawers) and therefore i requested a refund which came through about ten days later. The shop provided me with delivery for R350. I paid cash for both the product and delivery. When i asked for the delivery money back, I was denied because they claimed that the delivery person does not work for the store. THEY REFERRED HIM!! This is theft! So we spent R350 with nothing to show for it. They havent even addressed the matter. If you're looking for good, honest customer service, dont go there!
<p>I got married at this venue. We paid R3000 deposit and another R40G approximately, before our wedding date for venue and catering. Above that we paid another R1000 for a honeymoon suite. Closer to our wedding date we were informed that the suite was being renovated and our money would be used to book another room at a place nearby. We agreed. HOWEVER,the drama started on our wedding night when we arrived at the alternative venue that we were assured was booked. It never was. We had to go back to Nyati to collect our money and find another hotel that had a suite available at midnight! Two weeks later when we went to Nyati to collect our deposit back, our request was refused and an argument ensued,during which the owner slapped my hand away while I gestured in conversation.This lead to a massive physical brawl in which my husband and I were assaulted by the owner, her husband and her daughter. Funny enough, the camera which was meant to have recorded everything was too far away to see my angel,only where she strategically chose to sit. Also where they choose to tackle us was outside in the parking lot, there are no cameras. We never got our money back. Our guests were refused seconds, which were paid for and the waiters arrived in overalls. So please, if ever you consider using this place. ..DON'T! You will get robbed and possibly assaulted! </p>
<p>My insurance company referred me to Glasfit in Alberton to have my windscreen replaced. I left cigarettes in the cubby hole as I didn't have pockets to carry them in. After working on my car, they said I could leave and before doing so I checked for a cigarette. Surprise! They vanished! Only two people had worked on the car. I confronted them only for them to blatantly deny that they were ever on the car. So I called the manager,not to reclaim a R40 box of cigarettes, but to voice my complaint about stealing from customers vehicles!I was then told that it doesn't matter and I can go complain to my insurance company. And just like that my complaint was dismissed! They are rude and dishonest! I cannot understand why a company that can only fit one car at a time would even be on any insurance panel! </p>
