Bought a drone for my grandson on 22 February 2026, only to find it was broken when opening the box. Took it back two days after purchase. Told by a staff member that I needed to bring the 4th propeller and they would exchange. Obviously fell out of the box when we took it out. Went back a week later on 4 March 2026 as I had been ill. only to be told by the store manager Bernice (who first told me there was no manager in store to assist- later found out that she was the manager) that we had used it and no one to approve exchange as all on training and I should come back on the Friday (two days later). Even got told that the ties in the box holding the drone down are not theirs. So where did I get them from? I told her I was not coming back as it cost me petrol up and down. I called their HO and eventually the customer care manager Waseem called me back before close of business. It’s been two weeks now and I have made numerous calls to Waseem, to no avail as he is always in meetings and going to return my calls. Waseem was going to check camera footage of 24 February 2026 between 10.10 and 10.30 to see whom had assisted me at the door., Still waiting. How much work gets done in that office if he is always in meetings? I am tired of calling and all I ask is for a full refund of R750 or an exchange so that I can give my grandson his gift. Tired of waiting.

Bought something online work R850 on sale. I ordered on a Friday evening and went in store on Saturday and found a better deal which I purchased and sent an email immediately to customer care to cancel that order and do a refund before it can be sent out on delivery. They reply later on the week to say it was already handed to courier. Amazing how fast they did that delivery which only came to me the following week. They said I have to return it to the courier company for the refund. they then come later the week to pick it up and I have received no correspondence to say whether the courier company has it or handed it to them. it could've easily got ****** or lost and there was no one to tell me about my parcel. What's worse is when I go onto my profile it's shows no orders have been placed but prior to the return it showed my order on the profile. I emailed back and fourth numerous times and the customer care was of no help whatsoever. I am still awaiting my refund or any news about wer the parcel is. This is the worse online store I have ever encountered. I have ordered from many online stores and have done returns with no problems. Toy Kingdom is pathetic

To tell you the least I was so impressed with the staff members at toy kingdom centurion mall, what a warm and helpful service you guys gave us, we were having a rough day since we were so disappointed about the service we got at toy r us but you guys made our day, especially my son's day. He was so excited that he was able to get the mobile car we promised him three months back.. Today it's his birthday I'm sure he will be raving about his new car to his friends at crèche the whole day. Thank you so much for educating us on the points we get every time we buy at your store. I ordered and paid for a set of Mr and Mrs Potato Head advertised at R359. When my order was delivered, only Mrs Potato Head was in the box. For the past three weeks I have been trying to get this sorted out. Amazon keeps on giving me computer generated answers. They want me to return the one Potato head for a full refund. I am using it in my classroom for lessons. I don't want the refund, just the rest of the order. They are refusing to help me any further. I managed to get a hold of Toy Kingdom. It looked promising, until they said, that they want to follow up with Amazon. That was on the 18th of June 2025 and no one has responded.

Purchased a pet dog for my sons birthday, my son wasn't happy so I took item back to store to return ,Saleem the store manager was rude and arrogant he didn't want to refund me at all even though item was still in the box and fully operational he was so aggressive and said he will get security to throw me out off his store. I want a refund and apology immediately he was laughing and smirking the whole time with no respect for me as the customer he just kept being rude the whole time. I've made a purchase from toy kingdom 2 weeks ago. I've only received my order today and there is a toy missing from it. All my items are fully paid for and I've checked my order again to see if maybe the item is out of stock. But no, it shows that it has been delivered. I urgently need this toy for a party I'm attending on Saturday. What do I do now? Wait another two weeks to fix the problem? I'm very disappointed in you guys and will not be purchasing in the future. I've not been issued any refunds either and the toys is worth R219.

I Am so upset with TOY KINGDOM firstly buy Christmas presents that is wrong and not working, then you go and refund the stuff where THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY IMMEDIATLY they refund you but you have to wait 6 days for your money to be refunded how is that working so they don't give a **** in taking away kids smiles on Christmas day with presents that is a joke but they also don't give a flying saucer in refunding your money immediately like the way they take it...…. This is ridiculous

I Am so upset with TOY KINGDOM firstly buy Christmas presents that is wrong and not working, then you go and refund the stuff where THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY IMMEDIATLY they refund you but you have to wait 6 days for your money to be refunded how is that working so they don't give a **** in taking away kids smiles on Christmas day with presents that is a joke but they also don't give a flying saucer in refunding your money immediately like the way they take it...…. One of the worst companies I have dealt with in a LONG time. They ruined my child's Christmas by sending out the wrong item, it took me days to get hold of them as you would be very lucky if they bother to answer their phones. Finally got hold of someone and sent the item back on 27th Dec 24. To date (11 days) I have phoned everyday (over 20 times just today), sent emails, FB messenger, all of it and still have no communication regarding my refund or return. No one calls back and all emails are a generic cut and paste. There are many other companies you can rather support who actually appreciate their customers.
