Bought something online work R850 on sale. I ordered on a Friday evening and went in store on Saturday and found a better deal which I purchased and sent an email immediately to customer care to cancel that order and do a refund before it can be sent out on delivery. They reply later on the week to say it was already handed to courier. Amazing how fast they did that delivery which only came to me the following week. They said I have to return it to the courier company for the refund. they then come later the week to pick it up and I have received no correspondence to say whether the courier company has it or handed it to them. it could've easily got ****** or lost and there was no one to tell me about my parcel. What's worse is when I go onto my profile it's shows no orders have been placed but prior to the return it showed my order on the profile. I emailed back and fourth numerous times and the customer care was of no help whatsoever. I am still awaiting my refund or any news about wer the parcel is. This is the worse online store I have ever encountered. I have ordered from many online stores and have done returns with no problems. Toy Kingdom is pathetic
Ordered two colonel burgers. They did not have colonel sauce and put Hot and spicy sauce to which does not agree to our stomach. Come home and extremely hungry only to find hash browns instead of chicken fillet patties. Drove back to the store and asked for the manager. a lady named ANITA D said she is the manager and told us they will make us new burgers. No apology as if it was our fault. No compensation for their incompetence and no thank you when handed the food. despite me saying that this costed me a second trip for their mistakes. And when i did order initially and got the wrong order the store was very quiet so they cannot use the excuse of them being overwhelmed with orders. Everyday after 6.30 they said they don't have chicken and wait 20mins if you want just to turn customers away. yet they close at 9pm. They should close down completely
went into the Galleria branch to purchase sorbet products that were marked 3 for 2. I took products that had the 3 for 2 tag. get to the till and the nail clipper was not part of it yet the tag was on the product. the manager comes to the till and says the tag is specific and the nail clipper is not included. the tag stated grooming products, the cuticle trimmer was part of the special but not the nail clipper yet both are grooming products. I was ****ed off with the mentality and attitude of the manager that I left everything I intended on purchasing and walked away. this is not the first time clicks 3 for 2 deals have ended up this way. not worth buying from them
Changed to ultimate banking. Used my wallet to at 2 stores and they reserved the money as usual when you purchase something but two days later I was debited for the same amounts again. While the initial payments remained uncleared in my account for over a week. in the interim I have been calling the call center which used up R100s of rands of airtime while on hold with no help whatsoever. Went into the Galleria branch to a Lady at customer care who showed me her screen insisting that I'm not understanding and asked another lady to explain to me as If I am a retard. both talking to me with attitude as if I don't understand. I told them call the call center and the lady was not pleased only to find out that the call center confirmed that I was right and they had my funds on hold. the lady at the bank then calmly apologizes after making it seem like I was retarded the whole time. I was then told to go to the stores to get them to give absa a letter to refund me. How dumb of a bank to request such. I had to go and the stores requested my bank statement to prove I was double debited as absa called it. I print out my statements which absa obviously charged me for only to see it does not show those uncleared amounts. wasted my petrol and money to print those statements. Absa has one of the highest bank charges and offers such pathetic services. a simple thing as a statement is not free on the app. I am changing banks.
Terrible service. The waiter was not welcoming. They did not have the starter we required and a simple thing as the welcome nuts. Took my mum for the first time to experience what everyone raves about just to be left disappointed. The owner was on the floor he never came around checking on patrons nor did he or his waiter bid us farewell. Our dearest waiter didn't even thank us and mind you we were only 1 of the 4 patrons at the restaurant so they were not busy at all just pathetic service and food.
