This company does interior and exterior painting work. I engaged them after seeing their handiwork at a nearby apartment building where they did exterior painting work. In my case it was the interior of my apartment. I found the owner and staff pleasant to deal with. They knew what they were doing. The end result is a very professional job. I highly recommend them.

However, this morning I looked at my online profile anmd saw that suddenly I have two contracts. The one that I upgraded and another number 06....83. On clicking on details for this number I saw that it contained the details as per the upgrade. Then I saw: Device and SIM You do not own this number and can only view certain information. Please link the number to your profile in order to view all the information. This was of concern. I phoned Vodacom. The lady told me that I requested a second contract! I told her I did an upgrade. Even read the sms messages. She could not help and I was put through to another division. The gentleman there did not really want to listen and seems (like the lady) to insinuate that "ordered" a new contract. I was then put through to a third person. Spoke at length to Tyrese. I must commend himas he knew he was dealing with an upset client and managed to salvage the situation without blaming me. The long and short is this new phone I got delivered last week must be returned to Vodacom. He confirmed the 06....83 is cancelled. He confirmed an upgrade - which now is costing me some R200,00 more than the original upgrade I wanted! An upgrade that someone at Vodacom messed up to reflect as a new contract. I will then get another new phone. So will have to go through the whole exercise again of reinstalling apps and passwords. I will never ever order anything online again with Vodacom and warn people to be extremely careful when doing online business with Vodacom. People make mistakes and data does go funny. However, do not blame a customer for mistakes you made. It simply would have been faster and easier to have gone to a shop for them to upgrade my contract.
I renewed/upgraded my cell phone contract online. Extremely easy. I also spoke to a very nice consultant re change of address. Online I got exactly what I wanted in the price range I wanted. At the cell phone store near me they try and get you into deals you don't want. I will recommend people rather try the online way. From the beginning I also got sms and email messages about progress etc. Very impressed!
I have had Enod-Eset virus protection on my systems for a few years. This company is great to deal with. They respond to emails very quickly and deal with issues fast and efficiently. I wish more companies would be like this. Most in fact do not even acknowledge receipt of your email let alone act on it unless you call and research the internet for the contact details of the directors' contact details

I had lunch in January at Warwick Wine Estate and bought some wine. I did not check the wine and only a few days ago opened the box and found the wrong wine in the box. It required one email in which I gave the date and tranaction amount for the correct wine to be delivered to me and they said I could keep the others. What a nice gesture winning over a fan!

I rented a car through Hertz - on 2 occasions in the past I was overcharged on fuel and got the money back after a fight! This time I rented a care agains for 12 days. The rental confirmation states the final amount to be paid is R3013.00 - I assumed petrol would be added - in this case just ofver R300,00 and it seems correct. However the final bill comes to R 4599.05 - R 1585.69 more. The bill itself does not explain this inflated amount as nowhere on it does R3031,00 appear. Mr Yakeen Albertyn a Customer Relations Administrator informed me that R3013,00 was an estimate - an approximate amount. Now in what dictionary but that of Hertz does "final" imply meas or lead to infer "approximate"? I have cancelled my September 12-day reservation and will never again use the company - the car rental sea is full of fish! I must add on taking up the reservation the person assisting me was rude - it was not my fault that my plane landed 3 hours late! Secondly - I am South African and an AirFrance frequent flyer and made the reservation through that site. The over R10 000,00 deposit was outrageous and I had the distinct impression - as the booking was in French and done though that website - that the person thought well this is another European with Euros! I feel ashamed to suspect that foreigners coming here on business or for tourism are seen as fair game as "they have money".

I bought 1gig data bundle at Clicks. On loading voucher I got error message I retried a few times. The data was not loaded to my account I am on a contract. I phoned the call centre and was told I should phone Clicks. Clicks tell me Vodacom should sort it out. Effectively Vodacom stole R149.00 from me I guess Clicks get a small commission for the sale. In fact Vodacom steals often as often on buys data and then one forefeits any balance not used in a certain period. That is theft. I am going to lay a criminal charge ofor theft against the CEO unless either the data is reflected onto my account or I am refunded within 2 days.
