I've been going to them for over 20 years and even though I've relocated I still go back to them to have my specs made. Their customer service is fantastic.
<div>When you book a removal company you need to know that they'll be there on the day that you book them, especially if you have tenants moving in on a specific date. Klein Karoo Meubelvervoer - 36 hours (!!) before our booked and scheduled long-haul move, Klein Karoo Meubelvervoer informed us, via email, that they would not be able to accommodate our move on the scheduled date and offered a date 9 days later instead. This despite the fact that their contract indicates that booking is confirmed once payment has been received - and they had received our payment long in advance. On receipt of their email postponing the date, **** refused to take our calls insisting on whatsapp/email communication only. We were eventually only able to speak to her the following day when she decided to take our call - drop your customer at the last minute and then refuse to speak to them. When it came to having our money refunded that too was a game for Klein Karoo Meubelvervoer with all sorts of delays and false promises as to when payment would be made. The funds were eventually refunded 19 days after my request for the refund. In short - lack of service delivery, holding on to customer funds unnecessarily, shocking lack of respect for customers’ needs, appalling communication. </div>
This is one a one man company with several Facebook pages under different names including Access Appliance Repairs & Appliances Repair Company. He actually fixed a fridge, dishwasher and tumble dryer for us. There was a problem with the tumble dryer repair & he promised to come and sort it. After repeated promises he blocked our calls. This despite the 6 month guarantee on the invoice. He is a hit and run specialist. STAY AWAY
<p>What a pleasure to deal with Gerard Jordaan who helped us with a claim after a house breaking. It was a long and drawn out affair but he remained helpful to the end. Good communication is key and Gerard was open and honest and didn't overpromise, he just kept plugging away to ensure that we received fair treatment.</p> <p>Wel done Gerard!!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
