Telkom billing is incorrect and if not corrected i will end up with a high account. My account is normally in the region of R1100 wifi 150mbps with closer 100 bolt on. My last e-mail i received from billing and debit order was end September 2023. October said i owed 0,41,in other words i was in credit,,impossible. I have called billing 4 times since end October until 15th November, each time the same answer my bill is correct. My portal has disappeared, my pensioners rebate which is R299 has dropped to R236 suddenly. My last account shows from 9th to the 14th October 2023 only. My account is:337823546
I have had a credit card with Absa for years and been paying credit life. In 2008 i was let go from Telkom, due to my age. Since then i have been on pension. However in 2022 i approached Debt rescue as i could no longer pay my creditors, due to illness etc. As i am paying credit life, all types of excuses not to settle the credit card come up. This is typical of insurances. Would love to hear from Absa or let people know that credit life is a waste of time. D.A.Langley
I am a pensioner supporting a household of 3 receiving a small pension, to assist my family i took out this life insurance in case something happens to me. This month May i will be in trouble financially due to the lockdown, so i contacted different life, to tell them my situation and my debit order would bounce. They said they cannot help me, but today i received an e-mail that the amount i normally pay R337.08 would go to Covid 19 school meal gap . Then i will cancel this insurance. The government supports them not me, this is absolutely absurd.
Absa is the worst bank, since December 2019 i have had problems with them, initially it was about my debit order coming off twice in one month. This was sorted and was told my debit order would be the last day of each month, however it comes off each month on the 29th and the 31st i would get a message telling me my debit is due. Then after speaking to Lebo at Specialist Case Manager: Resolve Complaints. suddenly 1 month the debit order was not taken off, somewhere in the region of R960. As i dont sit and watch what goes off or not, because i am a pensioner of 66. The following month i received a message to say i am in arrears, my record is always clean, now as a fault on ABSA,s side my record was *****ed. When receiving the complaint of non payment i agreed to pay R1100 until the deficit was alleviated, however i keep getting irritating messages to say i am in arrears lately of R734.66. But my debit orders now do go off at R1100, until the arrears are gone. Looks like someone somewhere at ABSA needs an awakening. Hopefully the CEO or someone with sense will sort out the mess that THEY made. I would not recommend Absa to anyone, I have left them and now use FNB and STD bank after being with Absa since 1976, because they cannot rectify their own mistakes.
My normal debit order at absa is always on the 31st or 1st of every month on a personal loan.I then received a message from them Absa: a friendly reminder that your personal loan payment is due on 13 Jan 2020. I tried calling them, i am a pensioner so i could not afford this,so i sent an e-mail on Thursday 4 days before the 13th. Got a response saying we will call you on or before the 14th...Hello by then the debit order would have gone off. I then went to Std bank cancelled the debit order for the 13th cost me R60. But also went to the local absa branch to notify them of the cancellation. 5 hours later i received another message from Absa:Dear Mr Langley the correct repayment date on your loan is 31/01/2020. We apologise for the inconvenience. So the e-mail i sent to Absa was nonsensical as was my local branch call, and it cost me R60 in unnecessary time, petrol and expenditure. Whoa would i use Absa again nooo ways they dont know what they are doing.
Jeffreys bay is a small town ,so naturally a bit slower than major towns and cities. These guys Hendrik and Charl are excellent and are busy 24/7. If they dont have your part they will order it. Being using them since 2008 and as can be expected in the motor spares trade sometimes the wrong part is despatched but 9 out of 10 i have not experienced a problem

I bought a parrot from a registered pet shop, but have problems with cats. So i advertised on Locanto, advert went live and i had no response to ad so i bumped up the ad for 7 days paying them R19 which was readily accepted, the following day the ad was cancelled.Daylight robbery. They then cited animal laws etc ,which is **** as budgies, parrots etc are sold at pet shops, we are not hunting or catching them in the wild. The same ad was accepted by a much larger group with no hitches. Absa dispute dept re-instated the monies. Please guys beware of advertising on this platform.
