I wish to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the level of service we have received from Hanno at Penguin Pools Pretoria. Although the company already has numerous negative reviews, I feel it is necessary to add our experience due to the unacceptable service we have endured. Communication was adequate only until the first deposit was paid. Thereafter, the quality of service and responsiveness deteriorated significantly. We were required to follow up on a daily basis to obtain any information regarding progress or completion of the work. At one point, the situation escalated to such an extent that we indicated that, should the service not be completed, the swimming pool would need to be removed. Each day, we were left waiting until approximately after 10:00 to be informed whether the team would arrive on-site. As working individuals, this lack of communication, planning, and cer*****y was both unreasonable and highly disruptive, as we were expected to remain at home without the ability to plan work or personal commitments. It became evident that there was no proper planning or scheduling in place, as decisions regarding attendance and work were made only on the morning of the intended workday. As a result, completion of our swimming pool was delayed by at least one week due to poor daily planning and bad weather conditions. This delay has had further consequences, including preventing the timely installation of a swimming net. With the festive season approaching and many businesses closing, this delay is especially concerning, particularly as we have small children and safety is a priority. Despite repeated follow-ups and appeals to Hanno to treat the matter with urgency, our concerns were clearly not taken seriously. The lack of accountability, customer care, and professionalism has been extremely disappointing. From the outset, the service was unprofessional. During the excavation process, workers discarded empty soda bottles and cans into the hole and left them there. At no stage was there any supervision by a site manager, and workers frequently arrived on-site without clarity on the planning or scope of work. In addition, we are now facing further financial expenses to correct the electrical connection from the swimming pool to our home’s DB board. We initially enquired whether the power supply could be connected from the borehole electricity box; however, after reconsideration, we clearly communicated our decision not to proceed in this manner. We informed both the electrician and the company how the power supply should be installed, yet our instructions were ignored, and work proceeded against our explicit request. In hindsight, we regret not reviewing customer feedback on Google and Hello Peter before engaging Penguin Pools Pretoria. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend their services to anyone.
Absolutely dissatisfied with my experience with @Lu-May Exclusive Wear. I purchased a bikini online under the impression that this is local brand and stock will be on hand. ONLY to find out after die payment was done... SURPRISE your order will take 8-12 working days!!! NOWHERE in the process of adding your item to the chart and check out point are you informed about the waiting period!! If you select the Door to Door delivery or Postnet to Postnet - NO WAITING PERIOD MENTIONED... But BELOW... Local pick up takes 5-8 working days? So OBVIOUSLY the door to door delivery had no waiting period and according to info is the beste option since I needed this bikini urgently for my vacation next week!! Only to get the surprise message AFTER PAYMENT was done... Your order will take 8-12 working days!!!!! With another message... Should your order be time sensitive you should contact them... Only to receive pathetic services now saying they did expedite my order it will now take up to 15 working days! This is a absolute JOKE!! No refund available... But only to be used as store credit! Absolutely disgusted with this service... We are encouraged to support locally but this is the service you get.... Top it all, clothing is bought from Shein... I could have gotten better service from them
I have app**** for a further reimbur*****t loan on my home loan account to install solar panels for my house on the FNB APP in March. Month later still no respond from FNB! Finaly getting through someone to assist after holding on for hours to speak to someone and they just put the phone down in your ear! After all the drama I had to resubmit my application with forms that was send to me via email. It has now been 3 weeks , property evaluation completed all required documents send to them as they requested. The USELESS sales agent Themba Khambule - khambulet@fnb.co.za do not provide feedback. He ignores all emails send, all attempts to contact him via his cell phone number and landline is ignored! He doesn't phone back he doesn't give feedback I constantly have to ask on the Secure Chat on the FNB APP for feedback because this guy is not doing his job! I have had a home loan with FNB for 7 years, all my personal accounts more than 10 years and recently created a business account with them for my business! But this is the service received from them?? YOU LEAVE ME WITH NO CHOICE BUT TO MOVE TO ANOTHER BANK! Home Loan Ref 805/2071524/05/2025

My company is home based and to enter my home you have to go through a security gate at my dining room which I had to open by unlocking it for them to enter (note this gate is kept locked during the day and me and my staff unlock and lock it as we move in and out my house constantly) The gate was left open for them to enter and bring in the couches. Me and my staff was busy with rush hour and we did not keep a eye on them as they set up the couches. Only when they where finished I noticed they acted strange around the security gate and I couldn't directly pick up anything as they where standing around it in a way as if they were trying to cover up something. Only when they left and I went inside to see that my walls has dirty finger marks around the security gate. When I wanted to close it, I saw that it was broken! They broke my security gate without saying a word. Now only to deny everything, claiming it was broken but how where they able to confirm it was broken if the gate was left wide open for them to enter. Without having to open or close it!! Now Rochester only says that they are sorry... And that's where it stays!! We as customer have to pay alot of money for furniture and for the delivery just so that the drivers can cause damage to your home and you're left to fix it!!!
Adele Rorke is the best sales lady ever It has been a absolute pleasure dealing with her since day one. She went out of her way to assist me with all my queries and questions. Selling my current car and buying a new one was easy as "one, two, three" I highly recommend them!! Good day. Regards to my Edgars account. I NEVER agreed on the "sms air subscription". The sales lady phoned me and i clearly told her I'm not interested !!!!!!! But for some reason she subscribed me to it !!!!! I phoned the customer care on the 11th April and requested for it to be cancelled after a few days I received a sms from Edgar's, "Dear Customer. Your subscription has been cancelled. Ref #:EDC****0 ********** 426. Thank you." 16 April 15:42. NOW I received my statement for May and I'm still being charged for this sms subscription THAT I NEVER AGREED TO AND WILL NOT PAY FOR IT !!!!!!!!!! I explained to the sales lady that I'M NOT INTERESTED since I have a contract with Telkom and have unlimited sms !!!!! WHY WHOULD I WANT ANOTHER SMS BUNDLE????? I WILL NOT PAY A CENT FOR THIS AND WILL NOT PAY MY ACCOUNY UNTIL THOSE SUBSCRIPTIONS HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM MY ACCOUNT !!!!!
<p>So here is my second complain within less than 1 week !!</p> <p> </p> <p>Last week I had a problem with my debit details which was never captured in the system. So my debit order went off the wrong account.</p> <p> </p> <p>My reference for that case is 1- ********** 8833 – “Casandra” was working on it but until this moment I haven’t received any feedback !!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Now my new endless problem with Vodacom … I cancelled my contract on the 1st of July – reference number 1- ********** 7029.</p> <p>The lady ensured me that my contract has been cancelled and that I will be on prepaid from the 1st of August since my contract expired the 30th of July … this morning I received my voice and data bundle of my contract !!</p> <p> </p> <p>I called ********** , holding on for more than 30min to get assistance , someone answered the phone and never said 1 word !!! But I can hear everybody in the back ground making jokes and laughing … So I redialled the number and finally got “assistance” after holding on for another 15min.</p> <p> </p> <p>The lady asked me to hold for her because “the system is very slow “… So I hold on for another 20 min ( lets blame it on the “slow system” ) I gave up and ended the call and the lady did not even bother phoning me back even though she had my number !!</p> <p> </p> <p>At least she told me that my apparently my account is an arrears.</p> <p> </p> <p>How can this be if I went in to ABSA to pay that debit which went off on the wrong account ????</p> <p> </p> <p>I’m busy getting really fed up with Vodacom !!!</p> <p> </p> <p>Why did they never submit my application to change my debit order ??? Why was my contract never cancelled ????? There is so many unanswered questions but Vodacom does not give a **** about their clients !!!</p> <p> </p> <p>Why can't I get any assitance from Voadcom ???? Where to go ???? What to do ?????</p>
<p>So here is my story … ( by this time I’ve told it so many times over and over , I might as well write a book about it )</p> <p> </p> <p>On the 11th of July I called the customer care contact number to change my banking details from a Absa cheque account to a FNB cheque account and the guy who assist me ensured me that this has been processed and that my debit order will go off from my FNB account.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now on the 27th of July I received a Sms from Absa that there is “insufficient funds” in my account and the Vodacom debit order can’t be processed !! What a shock !!! Because I was ensured that my debit information has been changed !!!</p> <p> </p> <p>This morning ( the 28th July ) I called the customer service number yet again with this problem … the lady was not very keen to help me ( probably because she was fast asleep at 7h30 in the morning ). I insisted to speak to a manager and she then transferred me to her “ supervisor” named “ Harold”.</p> <p> </p> <p>He seemed very keen to assist me and even gave me his direct contact number to call him incase the lady who tried to assist me does not come back to me with a solution, and when I called him on the number ( because 6 hours later I have received any feedback from Vodacom ) , a lady at a BLACKBERRY store in Johannesburg answered the phone !!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>How great services is this ???? Not only was my problem NOT resolved to make things worse ABSA phoned me to tell me that my account is on overdraught. I had to drive all the way to ABSA to make a payment in the account which I haven’t use for several weeks.</p> <p> </p> <p>What is the coincidence that the same problem happens to me in less than 2 years. Last year February I had EXACTLY the same problem and Vodacom listed me as a “slow payer” and I got a bad credit record !!!</p> <p> </p> <p>So the moral of my story is that my information was captured on the 11th of July when I called them to change it but it was never submitted.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now I’m going to be registered as a slow payer AGAIN and get another black star on my credit record. And the only answer that I can get from the customer service is that “ we are sorry – let’s see how we can resolve this “</p> <p> </p> <p>I hope you all enjoyed reading my endless problem with Vodacom !!!!</p> <p> </p>
