Applying online is a waste of time, because after applyng and paying, one does not get a fingerprint slot. IN ALL DAYS , IN ALL BRANCHES LISTED(which are reduced). For 2 months I've been trying! What is one to do now, seeing that the system cancels your application after 60 days and you lose your money? One might as well do a branch booking mos(which defeats the purpose of reducing branch numbers) 😏
False and sneaky advertising! The money they deduct from your account is not the same money they advertised!
Why is it that Home affairs, the custodian of birth certificates, ID documents anf death certificates still need copies of these when dealing with the public? Such an uneccessary requirement ! Such waste of paper!
I have been trying to cancel 1 funeral cover (out of the 3 I have with them) ,for 4 months now! You guys are quick to sign up a person but drag your feet to cancel. Are you going to pqy me all of the deductions since September? I am actually considering cancelling all of them😏.
Only after placing an order and paying for it , Makro comes back and says they have cancelled some of the items because there is no stock available😲! Doesn't their system check na before we pay? Now thwy talk about refund of 2-10 working days, so I cannot even go order somewhere else because my money is not back in my account. So ****ed off🥺!
I am writing about buying forex for travel at FNB. In particular buying a cash passport. What a stupid system! Many flaws : Depature airports are a few RSA airports(and I was actually departing from abroad); I am ordering Euros but Europe is not in the list of destinations; in the dates of passport expiry and depature and arrival you can only choose 30th of the month as all other days are disabled. Kuningi nje. Another problem is that this is a 3rd party service, apparently; and no one in FNB branches or call centres can help you. My BIGGEST complaint though is the fact that I could not go back to the app and find the reference numbers nor upload the required documents . Plus it would have helped if these forex transaction would send an email/sms or app messages to confirm your order(with order number). But dololo🤷♂️. After your rransaction it's dead quiet!
At the Johannesburg Airport checkin, there is a VERY rude lady by the name of ELLEN CIDRAAS, who even wished that I would miss my flight(said with her own mouth). She argued with me about documents needed, and when I asked the name of documents, she became angry and said I am argumentative while she is trying to assist. She later called me a liar because of something she said and later denied. It was a mess , n front of my kids , who got traumatised as I was told I was about to miss the flight. She treated me like thrash, right from when I opened my mouth. Her attitude and customer service stink, to say the least!
I have 2 personal loans with FNB (excluding the Revolving Credit). I will call them LOAN1 and LOAN2 1. Personal loans collections has been debiting my LOAN1 account double for the past 3 payments. It has been such a mission to reverse this every time I have to , because my account Is in arrears. Even when I have an arrangement, still no difference. Will it be the story of my life to ask for this refund EVERY MONTH until the arrears are settled ??? 2. The consequences of these monthly deductions are crippling my finances further. This month , my son will have to stay home from school while I wait for FNB to refund me , as is the case now every month. The other month it was my car that was not paid , and interest accrued , while FNB took their sweet time for the reversal. 3. I have a 2nd smaller LOAN2 , and I see now a debit of LOAN1 went there , plus the arrangement of LOAN1 credited there . HOW???
