Formal Complaint – Defective Heater & Poor Customer Service at Dis-Chem Kenilworth I am writing to formally raise my disappointment regarding both a defective heater purchased at dischem Kenilworth branch and the poor customer service I received thereafter. On 19 August 2025, I contacted Dis-Chem Kenilworth regarding my heater, which after just a few weeks was only working on one bar. I did not initially exchange it, as I had already discarded the box, but tge only proof purchase via my bank statement and Dis-Chem Rewards Card. I was assisted by Cavil (Credit Supervisor) who explained she required the box for the supplier. She mentioned she would check if another store had the same model for exchange. However, when I followed up, she admitted she had forgotten about my case and told me that I must remind her. To this day, I have received no further communication from her. After several follow-ups, today I eventually spoke with Zinclair (Training Manager). Instead of assisting, to whom i had to give my number againshe questioned me repeatedly as if I were on a witness stand, asking me to confirm what the other consultant had said. She even admitted that the consultant had forgotten about my case. As she had stood there when i called the 1st timeI reminded her that as a customer, it is not my responsibility to manage internal staff issues between Dis-Chem and its supplier. I simply expect a working product or a suitable exchange/credit. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism, communication, and basic customer service displayed by both the supervisor and training manager. As a loyal Dis-Chem customer, I have never been treated this way before or had an issue with something I had to return. According to her they need the box and proof of purchase when my bank account serves as proof of purchase. Now they claim no one has the heater then gibe me a voucher in which I can purchase to the value I said to her I had bought a similar heater for my son at the same time in dischem n1 city. I feel as a customer should I just throw away something that was defective they should be able to pick up it was bought at dischem. I provide yhem with style code amd ofcourse there is a batch code. I therefore request: An urgent resolution – either an exchange for a working heater or a full credit. A formal acknowledgement of this complaint. Assurance that customer service standards at the Kenilworth branch will be addressed. I trust this matter will be resolved promptly and with the seriousness it deserves. A big shout out to Ronado at cavendish @home today I went with the intention to look and buy later or maybe online or purchase for different brand for less. Ronanados customer service was beyond excellent I just couldn't help ny self to buy the intant pot today I want to say thank u Ronado for making my choice so easy .
I visited partners training college on 25 /7/24 Thursday the trainer at that time was Rooysen whom is a stylist at Partners Cavendish square as well , I was so taken a back by his professional yet gentle so much skill, and knowledge thank yourl Rooysen , I can really say for the first time since 15 years ago I can truly say I have found an excellent stylist . I would closed I recommend him to anyone.
Where to start I don't even know, Firstly thank you Romano for the excellent service that was delivered and going the extra mile when I came to buy the boot for my son. The manner he conducted him self the pleasantness and the the customers service delivered. Then as well Kurt / Chad did not get the correct name not even the exceptional phone etiquette but even when he assisted my son at the canal walk store. Thank u once again
I have no words simply WOW. I decided to go the the training college in Kenilworth for my hair Made appointment. As I went ro partners in Cavendish and when my stylist left q0byears later to date I never found someone.Like When I walked in I recognize the trainer a senior stylist that was as Tygervalley I don't know why I never took the tike to go to him. Today he was there guiding Mea . All I can say is he guided her in doing my hair the way I loved it . Wow Monash you are the best hey He is also in Constantia Partmers I learnt today And Mia you really did me well today. And she is in Canal walk. Once again you both blew me away today Wow wow wow.

On 31 April 2024 I made and appointment at Sorbet canal walk. I got there about 20 min before my appointment. Initially the ambience was cold and the receptionist came across cold, thinking I'd never come here again i then thought I'd run some errands while waiting. Returned 10min before. Waited until my the****** was ready. Yvonne was exceptionally professional and showed so much care. I ended up adding to my treatment. Yvonne wasna star in every sense in fact she saved the day, I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Yvonne for going the extra mile. And Also to the Lady she refer to as my boss for your friendliness. . I will surely return for Yvonne even though I can go to cavendish which is nearer.
One again I was wowed by Feroza and her team. The welcome in that store is phenomenal on a not so good day you they will warm your heart. Well needless to say it can only happen with a Manager as Feroza vibrant ! Feroza u and your team.is just wonderful. Tash when I walked in immediately and showed me items I'd like , and took with no hesitation. Feroza on tge other hand was on a break when she returned and saw me She welcomed me she came to see that my items fitted properly and showed me a few more that would suit me. I just wanted ro say thank to Feroza and your team And that I love shopping at your store for you. Thank you sooo much
