In your November deals yellow trader you have a Lenovo A6 deal... which says it has 8GB Ram and a 500TB Hard Drive. It was pointed out to me by the sales lady that the HD size was an error.. but it was NEVER pointed out to me that the RAM was also an error. I originally asked the sales assistant to give me more specs on the machine that the supplied ones in the ad (15.6" Screen / Win 10 / 8gb Ram / 500TB) and she was unable to find any... You know interesting things like processor speed etc... So I googled the machine to get specs and was happy with what I hoped I would be getting..... Yesterday (Thurs 28 Nov) I rushed through the paper work as I arrived closer to closing time than intended (seeing as your hours on Google are also incorrect) But unfortunately your systems would not allow the sales team to actually invoice me out.. So I had to come into the store again today. And once more we rushed though all the paper work... Sign here, initial here... no time to read not pointing out what I am signing.... which is probably because your enthusiastic sales team was rushing me to sign on a 4GB machine... and not an 8GB machine I THOUGHT I was signing for. I phoned the store and spoke to my sales lady who promised to look into it and come back to me.... Still waiting - and low and behold no one is answering the phone anymore..... So now here I sit with a machine that was NOT what was advertised, and NOT what I wanted... and no one getting back to me.... I have been with Autopage / MTN since 1998 and this is the first time 21 years I have a sick feeling in my stomach after having been taken by them.... I am now that idiot who was conned by MTN... (and for the 2nd time this year (However the first time it was resolved fairly quickly but still cost me R300)) And so I think that It's probably a good time to consider another cellphone service provider!
I received an sms on 29 Oct thanking me for taking out a policy with Iwyze VAPS. the tel number on it was not the same as the website so after discussing this with my actual broker we decided it was a phlishing sms and ignored it. BUT lo and behold a debit for a policy I never took out was taken from my account on 1 Dec. I cancelled my M&F policies years ago, which has to be how they fraudulently obtained my banking details. I took half an hour to find another 2 victims of this fraud from their facebook page. I have contacted them. I will be taking this to the ombudsman and should this issue not be resolved before the end of business on Monday I will be taking legal action. This is Fraud! This is not MAYBE Fraud. Old mutual and Iwyze you have crossed the line!
