They are very happy to give you a card and that gets delivered immediately, but then to find out that if your geolocation is not on, in other words you cannot travel (you must sleep at home), your account is summarily locked. They also cannot tell you what the minimum payment is, and you sit on the phone for hours trying to get someone to help you. SHOCKING
I had such shocking service from your establishment this morning. I placed an SOS to have my car battery replaced on your website because your phone number just rang once and then the line went dead. After my call out was received your service call center kept on phoning me asking me to hold on and then when I got to the next person she would ask why I called. I tried to explain to her THAT YOU CALLED ME. The technician arrived after they had given him the wrong address. My address is ******X, they gave him another house number. He promptly replaced my battery and closed the lid of the car without giving me a chance to see what he had done. I had to ask him several times to re open the car bonnet so I can see. Then his speed point machines didnt work and I had to repeat my credit card number to another lady no less than 4 times and she couldn't get it right. He then also repeated my credit card number and she also couldn't get it right. She then said she will listen to the recording. It was absolutely terrible service. I have been a member of the AA for many years and think I should cancel my subscription, since you evidently are not equipped with professional staff.
David sent someone out on the 23rd of December 2022 to look at my fridge not getting cold (freezer section was fine). They used boiling water to get the ice off the back and told me the issue is resolved and that they replaced parts, which I never saw. They charged me R2850,00 and gave me a year guarantee. I paid a deposit on 5 dining room chairs on the 4th of August 2022 for R5120.00. Willem has disappeared with my money and he is nowhere to be found and also does not answer his phone. This morning I did not go to Douglasdale Woolworths, but decided to go to the Woolworths in Clearwater mall. Before I start, I want to just mention, that despite social distancing Douglasdale Woolworths ALWAYS has an approachable and accessible manager on the floor and during this Covid time has delivered wonderful service and products time and time again, without compromising safety. I spend about 10-12k a month at Woolworths, so I believe I have the right to raise a complaint. Back to this morning, as I entered the Woolworths in Clearwater Mall I was greeted with a long queue of about 50 people waiting to pay for their groceries. This queue was standing in between the fruit and vegetables section in so much that new shoppers had to squeeze past to try and shop. Shoppers were not being stopped at the entrance. After I selected my items and waited in the queue for 30 to 40 minutes I asked the teller to call the manager. This was the second person I had asked to call a manager. Apparently the ladies standing loitering at the cellphone counter (because they were not working) had difficulty calling the manager. To the till came, LeeAnne, with a bad attitude and aggressive body language. She refused to listen to my complaint until I had said Good Morning (like a child being disciplined lol) and answered her question on ''how I am I"? I asked her why 3 OUT OF 12 tills were manned and she told me it was social distancing. The tills are 2 meters apart in Woolworths anyway, and Douglasdale have all at least 7 out of 12 tills manned...(so how)... The fact that there was now a queue of 60 people, she also had a very smart answer for. She told me the onus is on the public to practice social distancing. When I asked why they were allowing so many people through the front door she stormed off. Lee Anne has NO idea of how to handle customers, she SHOULD NEVER be in a front line position, SHE evidently has PERSONAL and CIRCUMSTANCIAL hangups that makes her the worst staff member to uphold the values of the Woolworths group. I am disgusted and will never enter Woolworths Clearwater Mall again.
Wilcote installed a new roof on my garage for 26k and repaired the roof in other places like the sunroom for another 13k in April 2018. The guarantee was for 10 years. In August 2019 (last year) there were severe leaks in the garage, and they came to fix it. It rained again and there were more leaks in the garage and more leaks in the sun room. They came out several times and eventually just stop answering my whatsapps. I now have contracted another roofing specialist (City Painters-highly recommended) who has told me that the outlet from the gutters to the down pipes are not big enough and that is the reason for the leaks particularly during heavy rains. He is now fixing the Wilcote incompetence I have paid dearly for. Please never use Wilcote, they were recommended to me by a friend, who has also had to subsequently pay another contractor to fix her roof. I had previously posted this on Hellopeter and was reprimanded severely by Mark Penhalls' wife and pressurised to remove my post. This post will stay.
I had small leaks in my garage and dining room and my new roof was installed by Wilcote Mark Penhall in April 2018. October 2018 there was some major issues with continuous leaks etc. Eventually they "fixed" it. I went to Cape Town for 9 months and I am back now. This is footage of tonights' (13112019) rain in my garage and kitchen. My sunroom (diningroom) is also still leaking and that was the work done which amounted to 14k. That has now a brand new solid wood ceiling which will now get damaged. Basically I am up at 2 am in the morning petrified of more rain and more damage. Videos and whatsapps were sent to Mark and Craig and the Franchisee Will Rogers. The response has been none and poor. This morning I called all the cellphone numbers I had , none of which were answered, plus the 0861 WILCOTE number which informed me the Johannesburg North number does not exist. Sad!! R40 000 to fix two small leaks and now I am flooded and have to fight and stress.
