This is a ****. Well and truly. Things they wont tell you they do not accept any start ups and will request a ck doc and cipc docs. They do not accept a gmail address. But they will take you money before they infor you of all this. They also refuse to do refunds after you have sent them what they have requested. And they will look for any excuse for information not to line up. Currently on route to saps to open a case against them. Please do not give them your money.
3 days after loading 3 complaints on their site, 2 on this site, over 60 calls to fnb and still no feedback. These guys just dont care. Please use any other bank if you can, just save yourself the trouble!!! There was a time they were a good bank but now we are all just numbers.
Wow after 6 years of being a client of fnb they have decided to involve themselves in my life and tear down my life and business. For those of you thinking the are the "best bank" here is what you can expect: Thursday my client makes a payment to me they flag it and call my client to inform him it's a scam, they subsequently freeze my account which has funds in it. Friday I was on the phone with them for over 300mins which I paid for between 8am and 4:30pm only to be told that I must speak to John Volmink (an investigator) to remove the freeze but it is now 4:30 so he has left the office. When I asked how i expected to get through the weekend with no money i was told that there is nothing they can do, that no one but john can do anything (john I hope they pay you a CEO salary) so I must just survive till monday. Let's recap: 1) fnb contact my client not the other way around. 2) they reversed the funds to my client without contacting me. 3)they froze my account from thursday night it's now monday. 4) I still haven't heard from John. To continue, my only request from them was please write a letter explaining how my account got flagged in the first place so I can show my client that this is a misunderstanding so I can save my business while waiting for john. 7 managers advised they would get back to me, not a single one did. My complaint on their website has gone unanswered, 3 emails to my banker were unanswered, mails to john, unanswered, mails to John's manager unanswered... My client is now going with someone else. By the way my accounts are: private clients, private wealth and business account. So for those of you with any lower accounts lol good luck!!! But hey I'm sure If I was a Rupert or Steyn they would have done the same right??? Ps. There is nothing random about smart blocking, I will post the calls if they ever release them. To fnb please All 58 calls since Friday 8am till now.
<p>I am not writing this review to get assistance from Regent it's become very apparent the won't even pretend to care... It is for you potential customers doing research please consider all your other options because come claim stage these people will never help you, they will string you along taking their payments... And this is our fault as consumers for supporting a company and helping them grow to a point where they no longer need to care about us they have made their money... If it costs you more to be with another company pay the extra amount cause they might actually care and you will get your money's worth... Hindsight is 20/20 don't make the mistakes we did... </p>
<p> After 2 days with Fnb I think it's a much better option to keep money under my bed, after being given the completely wrong information which was admitted by a consultant to waiting in branch for a second day in a row which may just become 3 in a row, and a call centre that after countless calls and holding tells you the can't hear you and put the phone down, 1 client may mean very little to you but this is not how they should be treated, I moved over because friends have told me you are the world's most innovative but it seems moreie the world's most ineffective bank, and your too big to care about our little opinions. Could you at least call so I can close my account.This has been embarrassing time consuming and just generally unpleasant. </p>
