I did two lay-bys and totally forgot about the lay-bys I lost the slips however I have my identity, yesterday I went to ask for my refund and was told by the store manager Lynn that I needed to go get a affidavit and she won’t be able to help me, my concern this procedure is not on the slip or even in the store, this was not even communicated to me when I did the lay-by and I am very disappointed in how Edgar’s doesn’t want to help people with their monies. Lynn made me look like a fool infront of her staff telling me that she knows that the staff told me about keeping my slip and getting a affidavit, so she made it look like I am a **** L, totally don’t agree with how she does things, she doesn’t even know who helped me but already she’s defensive about the situation again she’s the store manager but cannot resolve issues, why is she in the store? I asked her to provide me with a policy that states I must have my id and go get an affidavit it was not available.
I bought a blankets at HomeChoice on the 7th of December 2024 I got home and discovered that the bedding was double instead of a Queen that I paid for, I returned was told that the Queen is not available I requested for a refund and was told by the manager that he refund takes a week as it needs to be credited, up until today I had returned the stock to them but my money is still with them, where in the world does a store keep a customers money? R2900 if I don’t get my money tomorrow I am taking this to the herald, the manager along with his 2ic are just not bothered I am so disappointed in this store after lying to me about my product they are now *****ing my R2900
I would like to compliment Maxwell who is a worker at Pick n Pay Ngebz Mall, i think his a department manager for the fruit n veg department, this guy is so enthusiastic about his job, his customer service is on point, the way he lay outs the fruit n veg makes you want to buy even more veggies even if you have at home, his also got good leadership s****s and priorities a customer... i hope that Pick n Pay knows that Maxwell is keeping thier business flag high up as he delivers nothing but the best... He deserves great things, it is rare to find a manager or consultant ensuring that they keep customers happy.. he makes sure we leave happy and he even knows which veggies the customers wants.. guys Maxwell is a asset to your store and because of him we love shopping at Pick n PAy
Today on the 27th of March at round about 09:45 my twin sister was on a job haunt and got to Spar in Newton Park and asked for the manager, a lady who was sitting at the kiosk was very very rude and had absolutely no customer service whatsoever, the worst part was informing my twin that if she doesn't get out of the shop she will call the police, now my question to the manager over the phone why is that when peopl ask for the manager they are told in a rude manner that there arnt vacancies, isn't that the duty of a manager to do so? Why are they threatening to call police on someone who is looking for work? Is it perhaps of her skin color? They must then write on thier wall that no vacancies for Africans or they must just state no Africans allowed if they are just going to bite peoples head off for just trying to find work... I am really disappointed and never have I heard of such rudeness in my life and I'm sure to take this company to the herald.
I was at the store in pick n pay Mthatha yesterday standing in the line a worker working for pick n pay decided to come stand right in front of the till not even asking us to purchase seeing that she was on lunch I then told her that the line is this side, she started swearing me telling me that she can buy wherever she wants here at pick n pay then I told her aslong as u move away from our line after that she went to purchase somewhere else and still had the audacity to come shout me telling me " you see I have bought" she was wearing fishflops and dragging her feet and made sure that she showed everyone her rudeness its a pity she wasn't wearing a name badge but shes was very rude n her attitude was pathetic we as customers know that pick n pay doesn't require this from staff I am furious n disappointed in picknpay mthatha
