What astounds me is that this company is still in operation?!!!!!??? Despite the numerous horrid experiences that people have put onto Hello Peter, I see that nothing has been done to contact this scam company and there have been no consequences for their conning tactics! What is even more astounding is that their website is still operational? This company is committing criminal activities and there is no consequences for these criminals! It's really sad because honest people are being scammed and taken advantaged of by these scoundrels!
This is now my third review regarding this despicable company! My first review was deleted by hello Peter. People, please please please DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM MARKDOWN MARVIN!!! These people are absolute con artists and what still astounds me is that they are still operating their sneaky website! How is this possible!!!??? Hello Peter, what are you doing to help us consumers who have experience daylight robbery with this thieving pirates? How is it that markdown marvin is still operating as a trading business despite taking so many people for many rides??!???? I am truly appalled and just disappointed that criminal like businesses such as markdown marvin are getting away with robbing people and there are no consequences!!!
I think it's important for the public to know that markdown marvin is an unethical, shady company. They're definitely scammers! These are not alleged allegations against this despicable company, but it's based on actual experience. I ordered a milex airfryer on the 18th Oct 2020,did the eft payment, received mails from this company confirming payment receipt and delivery date, but to date, I've received NOTHING! Despite receiving emails from these crooks (and responses on hello Peter), I have not received the airfryer. People, be aware of this dodgy company! If it seems too good to be true, don't buy it... Especially from markdown Marvin!!! You will get ripped off like myself and many others! Markdown Marvin, another friendly reminder, Karma is a big b****!!! Remember this! And to Hello Peter, yesterday you emailed requesting documents to prove the relevant transactions and communique with this idiotic company, we as customers who've just been ripped off, have made use of your platform to make consumers out there aware and alert of this shady company, and to avoid many more people from being scammed! I find it annoying that you are questioning us, the consumers who've just been conned out of our hard, honest earnings!
I am really annoyed and appalled by Markdown Marvin's customer service and delivery! I too ordered a milex airfryer and it's still not yet delivered. It was supposed to have been delivered yesterday. I have called both the landline and cell number several times and both numbers go to voice mail! I enquired yesterday afternoon about my order via email, I got feedback stating my order would be delivered by 6pm on the 27/10/20 (order 2914). I am extremely disappointed with this company
So tonight I placed an online order using the Nandos app... This order was for the Nandos Verulam Branch in KZN. I ordered 3 items and 1 of those items I ordered was a VEGETARIAN HALLOUMI AND VEGETABLES WRAP. Upon delivery of my order... As I start eating my wrap... I find out that inside my wrap is HALLOUMI AND VEGGIE PATTIE!!!!! ??? I called the verulam branch only to get through the call center. I called twice only to be told that the team leader would get back to me.... I'm still waiting for the team leader to get back to me!!!! ????? that was almost 2 hours ago!!!! It's really pathetic to have such incompetent pathetic staff who clearly seem to be either too lazy to reader online orders specifications or perhaps are illiterate!!!????!!! Really really very disappointing about the service delivery from Nandos Verulam and the call center!!!!! I posted my experience on Facebook as well.... Really really disappointed.... There really should be competent people employed on the service delivery sector!!!!
On Saturday, 17th November 2018 I treated my sister to belated birthday celebrations. We decided to eat out somewhere in Cornubia Mall located in KZN Durban North. Since it was her birthday treat, she settled on Pannarottis Pizza Pasta restaurant. When we entered the restaurant we were at the entrance for a few minutes expecting to be greeted and assisted with a table. Instead we noticed that the two female staff behind the reception counter were in a very loud conversation and were also laughing quite loudly. They did look at us and carried on with their conversation as though we were invisible. Some minutes later, a waiter did assist us and we proceeded to our table. Thereafter our designated waiter approached us and asked about our orders and drinks. His name is Malusi K and we asked him for 5 minutes to decide on our orders. When he came back, I had placed my order for a vegetarian pizza because both my sister and I are strict vegetarians. She had ordered a vegetarian pasta dish (fettucini al funghi) but asked if the pasta could be changed from fettucini to penne. He said it was fine. I emphasized to him that we both are vegetarians and I asked him to repeat our orders which he did. We received our meals and being rather very hungry, we tucked into our meals. Whilst eating her meal, my sister noticed that there was something off with her meal as she couldn't understand what had accompanied her mushroom pasta. Upon further inspection we realized that there was meat in her VEGETARIAN PASTA DISH!!!!! ???? I immediately called for the manager by the name of Akash and told him what had happened. He apologized but I found his apology to be dismal to be honest. The chef named Mohammed came to us and he profusely apologized for the error made. I was furious because I did mention several times to our waiter, Malusi K that we were strict vegetarians and don't eat meat, so I was(still am) flabbergasted as to how he still managed to bring my sister an Alfredo dish with beef in there??????? despite us ordering a vegan pasta dish!!!!! Malusi K didn't even bother coming to us directly and apologizing. When he was passing our table I called him over and asked him what his problem was for making such a huge blunder. His apology was absolutely PATHETIC!!!! He clearly has no clue that there are people who choose to refrain from eating meat for whatever reasons they choose to do so!!! He didn't even sound apologetic in anyway. Mohammed the chef was kind though, he brought over a complimentary waffle for my sister to make amends, although it is appreciated, it doesn't make up for the ghastly error made by ignorant waiter Malusi K???? I know that I (and my sister) will never ever go to Pannarottis Pizza Pasta in Cornubia Mall ever again. It's such a pity because I did think they were a good restaurant, however having pathetic staff who blatantly ignore you when you enter the restaurant and continue with their own LOUD CONVERSATIONS AND LAUGHTER instead of serving customers and having waiters that clearly don't know what a vegetarian is.... Is certainly going to downgrade the place!!!! I'm really really disappointed and disgusted with the staff from Pannarottis at Cornubia Mall Durban North ???????
<p>Good day,</p> <p>I decided to treat my sister for her birthday to a pampering half day spa session at The Taj Spa located in Westwood Mall Durban. We arrived there about 10 minutes late due to heavy traffic that built up on route because of rainy weather, we did call the Taj Spa and informed them that we'd be a few minutes late due to traffic. Upon arrival, we were told by the owner that our sessions would be cut back by 10 minutes so that was somewhat disappointing to hear as it was my sister's birthday that very same day! My husband and I were then treated by two of the most disappointing masseurs that we have met...I am convinced that these two ladies were most probably trained hands on at the spa as they definitely did not possess any professional massage theraphy s****s when it came to providing the treatments we were expecting. They were completely lacking any form of professionalism and the whole experience with both of them was really apalling and dismal. My poor sister on the other hand had a masseus that had applied too much pressure during her session and she now has the bruises to show for it!!!</p> <p>Overall, our experience at the Taj Spa at Westwood was DISAPPOINTING AND APPALLING!!! NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN!!!</p>
