This agency is led by example. The principal never answer her calls and so the agents also don't have to... I will sleep under a tree before I have to deal with this branch again. Rude staff slamming the phone down in your ear and the rest of the staff just not really bothered to provide a service. SHOCKING TO SAY THE LEAST...
Cioli Ready Mix concrete must be the absolute ultimate when it comes to non existing service and they just don't give a ****... We use approximately 4500 / 5000 cubes of Readymix per annum and I will never ever use Cioli again and I will recommend anyone that do use them, get out you are just frustrating yourself and making yourself old before your time. This company just don't answer their phones when is comes to delivery.

My Audi experience

I Bought an Audi Q5 2.0 automatic 2011 model on 12 April 2016 from Auto Nantes in Paarl. At the time of purchase the vehicle had +-81 000 km on the speedometer. After completing approximately ****m with the vehicle the ‘oil low’ warning came on informing me that I must add 1 liter of oil when refilling again but may continue driving . Immediately my concerns was on hi alert but I went strait to the Audi dealership in Paarl. Here I was informed that the vehicle does use oil as part of it's specification. The service manager added the 1 liter of oil and I set off again. Approximately +- 1000 km later the ‘add oil warning’ alert again came on, now I am starting to get worried. I again went to the Audi dealership in Paarl and raised my concerns regarding the abnormal high oil consumption. The vehicle was then booked in for an oil consumption test where the result was ‘within specification’ according to the service manager, this was all still under warranty. Now approximately one month after this so called ‘oil consumption test the vehicle’s factory warranty expired because of time not kilometers. Again the oil indicator comes one and again I take the vehicle in for the issue. I was now informed that this test will be for my own pocket. I apposed this as I’ve been concerned all along and they agreed to do another test, again the oil consumption test results was ‘within specification’ according to the service manager. Surprisingly how it works less than two weeks later the service indicator comes on and needless to say this was an major service which I had to pay for out of my own pocket… Amazingly they called me and advised me that they have to replace the brake-fluid this will cost a additional R1000.00 and this is less than 3000 kilometers after all 4 disks and brake pad was replace by Audi. One would think something as important as break-fluid will get replaced while disks get replaced but apparently not... Needless to say I let them replace the break-fluid after all one don’t play around with breaks. Again +- 400km after the major service the add oil indicator again comes on now I’m really concerned as this vehicle is now outside of the warranty. I added the liter of oil as indicated by the vehicles on board management system and again one tank of petrol later the add oil indicator comes on. I went strait back to the Audi dealer in Paarl and raised my concerns again! Again the vehicle was booked in for an oil consumption test, the result came back quickly that the sump plug that was replaced after the major service was defective and that the oil was leaking. The strange thing was that there was no oil mark on my drive way never the less not a sorry or ‘can we reimburse you for the R300+ of oil I had to add because of their fault nothing of such nature...

Now here comes the real stuff, less than 3000km after the major service the vehicle did not want to engage in gear. I called Audi Paarl to ask for some help as I was less than one kilometer from them at the time. The service manager informed me that he recommend that I get a tow truck company to tow me in. He said he can give me some contact details of companies that they have used in the past or I can google for numbers, so much for ‘Audi assist’

I got towed in to Audi Paarl here the fun starts! For three days I called left messages for the service manager to call me back because I have still no word of what is wrong with vehicle so with no return phone calls I went to the dealership and request some feedback. I was told that they are doing tests and don't know what is wrong yet. On day four I agin went to the dealer and they informed me that I have to approve an quotation for stripping of the engine they believe the timing chain has slipped off. Any way eventually another day later the quotation came back for replacing of the timing chain +- R19 000.00 my extended warranty that I bought from Motorite approved an amount of R19 000.00 less R4 500.00 for what ever reason. I approached Audi Paarl and asked them how is it possible that the vehicle’s timing chain can come off almost immediately after it came from an major service and the answer was it is an non serviceable item. I asked them if there is tension on the timing chain and the answer was yes but they only check items that Audi South Africa tells them to check other wise they don't get paid for it. I then told them but I paid for the service not Audi South Africa and there was no reply to that. I raised my unhappiness regarding this situation towards Audi Paarl’s dealer principal and requested that they take the extra cost of the ordeal on them selves. They told me that they are not interested but I am welcome to launch an complaint with Audi South Africa which I did and nothing came from that, not even a phone call or email nothing.

Approximately two weeks after the timing chain ordeal the vehicle started to miss fire and again I went strait to the Audi dealer in Paarl. Here the vehicle was booked in and again I went through the same level of service, leaving countless of messages for the service manager to call me back to no prevail. Again I went to the dealer principal for help and amaizingly within 15min I receive an phone call from him giving me an update on the vehicle. Again, same story I have to approve stripping quotation because they think there might be a fault with piston number one. Needless to say again they are adamant that what ever is now wrong with the vehicle has nothing to do with the work they have done two weeks earlier. After countless phone calls again for updates on what is wrong I got told that their hunch was correct piston number one has indeed seized up. Motorite the 3rd party extended warranty asked for all sorts of information from the dealer like the vehicles ‘digital service log’ which Audi Paarl apposed to and told them they don't need it because it is an mechanical issue they then requested the vehicles repair log now this is where things really interesting! On this log this vehicle received an new set of piston rings at 27 000 kilometers, at 57 000 kilometers an new radiator in between all this the vehicle received numerous ‘oil separators’ this is some part that they keep replacing if the vehicle has high oil consumption. Ok we will come back to this part shortly. While Motorite accessing the claim they called me and asked if I experienced high oil consumption as of late. My immediate answer was that ever since I bought the vehicle yes. I explained to them all the oil consumption tests I booked the vehicle in for but the results were always just ‘within specification’ just so that you know ‘within specification’ means that the vehicle can use up to one liter of oil for every 2000 kilometers, crazy but apparently true.

Ok, Motorite’s assessor came to the conclusion that the damage to the vehicles piston/engine was the result over an long period of time not a month or two. In fact if Audi Paarl did an compression test every time the vehicle went in for the oil consumption tests this issue would have been picked up long before all the damage was done to the engine and even more importantly probably while it was still under the Audi warranty.

Ok back to the vehicles repair history. The piston ring set replaced at 27 000 kilometers the radiator replaced at 57 000 kilometers the numerous ‘oil separators’ that was fitted these thing all lead to high oil consumption which lead to the engine that over heated at some stage of it's lifetime (maybe why the radiator was replaced) it is clear that this vehicle had problems from the word go and this was nursed on the cheapest way possible while still under Audi warranty until such time you brake the ‘Audi Law’ if you buy an Audi from any other dealer than Audi they are not interested and if you take out an extended warranty from any 3rd party insurance they are not interested.

Audi Paarl quotation is R125 000.00 to repair the engine. On closer inspection of the digital service and repair log I noticed that the last 4 oil consumption tests was never logged. I confronted them regarding this and I got no more than an shoulder shrug from them. They do not deny that I did book the vehicle in for these tests but they apparently have no idea why these tests was not logged. (one of two reasons, 1. These tests was never done or 2. They were removed from this log for obvious reasons…) If these test was done at all and if they were done correctly they would of picked up that there is a problem with piston number one. This is not speculation this is cold hard facts.

Again I raised my unhappiness with Audi Paarl regarding this situation and to no surprise they were not interested to come to the party once again the issue is of no fault of theirs. Again they launched an customer complaint with Audi South Africa on my behalf and again to no surprise Audi South Africa said that they are not interested to come to the party either.

Now I would like to point out at this stage that this vehicle was originally bought from Audi Paarl brand new, every service every repair up to date was done by Audi Paarl no fingers to point to any other work shop but still they are persistent that none of the above issues is of any wrong doing on their side.

One think you buy an high quality luxury german vehicle with top service etc and this is how you get treated..
