The worst level of service you could possibly get from a online store. Order three loose items and a WEEK later I am still waiting for my delivery. Horrible! I wont support them again. Its quicker to order from Takealot or even some smaller IT retail stores on the internet.
Phoned Homenet Springs to get our property listed to try and sell, with the intention of purchasing a new house from the same agents. We also believe in having just one estate agent that tries and sell the house. I am utterly disgusted with the lack of care and attention we received from Homenet in Springs. I phoned on multiple times to try and get Izan to phone us, even if its just to confirm a time and date when we can expect a call from him, but nothing. What type of business doesnt get back to prospective clients? Do we need to beg them? Fine! Ill take my business elsewhere.
Evetech Computers used to be the GO-TO destination for any PC upgrades or gaming sales, BUT the company has become a JOKE! Service from Evetech is now on par with Home affairs of South Africa. Thinking of phoning them for some queries or want to talk to a sales person? You can forget about it! Its easier to phone the office of the president and ask for Ramaphosa himself. Want to go in store and collect, consult or pay for something? HAHA No way! Evetech is probably the only company in South Africa not taking clients in due to Covid. Can you imagine Checkers no longer taking in customers and everyone has to order via email, oh and you only get an email response after 24 hours. So many of our acquaintances have stopped using them and our business has now decided to fully stop buying from them altogether. Maybe if enough people stop buying from them, they will realize that customer service is majorly more important than just trying to make cheap sales for profit.

A few moths ago we saw the LTE uncapped offers from telkom for R599. Knowing it would be a lot faster than our ADSL, we applied for one. The speed was amazing. We were getting test speeds of 35Mbp's and faster.

We were so impressed with the speed and functionality of the device, we got 4 accounts more and even started recommend the LTE uncapped service to other clients. We must have had about 30 other companies all signing up for the LTE over the eastrand alone.

However.... It seems maybe that Telkom made a serious misjudgement in error, as they removed the "uncapped" offer on the devices and capped everyone at 250Gb. So as a company running 50 plus computers, we were a bit concerned with the cap, but since we had mutiple devices, we continued to use them.

Seems telkom made another error here. Due to the popularity of the LTE uncapped offers, it seems Telkom could no longer give everyone the bandwith they are paying for. When we got the devices a few months ago we were having speeds of 35Mbp's and over. We now have only about 7 to 10 Mbp's. We have been monitoring the devices for the last month and a half. Checking the speed 3 times a day.

The speed has never recovered. Why did Telkom not upgrade the LTE towers so everyone can enjoy LTE speeds? 7 to 10 Mbp's is an average ADSL line speed. Why be on the "Fast LTE Service" as telkom advertises if the speeds run the same as ADSL.

We have done mutiple fault testing on the devices and used mutiple options to increase speeds or signal, but being in the CBD we had full signal. Telkom will say:" Slow speeds due to network congestion" , but that just makes my point. Why sell a service if you cant give everyone the same service.

We have had on and off problems with one of our ADSL lines, but since last week the line has been dead.

We phoned telkom support and created a fault ticket. Its been now 3 working days and the line is still dead. No technician has come out to the premises to have a look at the line. We are a company and we rely heavily on our internet to do bussiness.

I have phoned telkom support on mutiple ocasions, but they have not been any help at all.

When can we have a technician come out the premises and have a look at the line?
