I booked and paid for an Easter weekend through Daddys deal. Received a confirmation email stating that my booking has been paid for and secure. I then receive a email stating that there has been a mistake and i need to move my booking or cancel it. Which is very unprofessional. After paying and securing the booking. Which is false advertising. And customers hate to be misled. Something needs to be done to this company as they have no right to cancel my booking especial after we have paid and i have supporting emails stating that availability for the Easter weekend.
<p>I have been applying for a position at Discovery from 2013. Because ive had no joy I decided to journal all the times I applied and spoke to an employee.</p> <p>I had enough of all the times I applied online so I decided to contact the HR head office in Sandton. On the 4 July I spoke to Tracey Booysen and she was very helpful. She advised me that the post that I did apply for, I did not meet the criteria. Which was understandable. She said I should just keep on trying and that’s what I did.</p> <p>I also had people sending my CV continuously on my behalf. They forward my CV to HR a couple of times and I still did not receive any feedback. I was very consistent as I really wanted the opportunity.</p> <p>I then went on to call the HR department on 031 ********** . The receptionist said HR does not take external calls. This was on the 11 July 2017.</p> <p>I spoke to Hamali and she looked on the system and saw that I have been applying. She then told me she is going to look into it and call me back. On the 26 July she called me and she asked me a couple of interview questions, then shorted listed me and asked me to come through for an assessment on the 27 July 2017.</p> <p>On the 27 July I went through and did the Maths assessment which I passed. I then had to perform a role play and the feedback that was given was that I exceeded expectation. I was then told to come in for an interview on the 28 July 2017 with the manages. I am a bubbly person by nature and im a go getter hence the reason I am hurt by the feedback that I received which was not correct. I answer all the questions and I was excited about the opportunity. After the interview they said they will call me with feedback.</p> <p>I waited a whole week and I couldn’t wait any longer so I called Hamali on the 4 August 2017 and she advised me that I was not successful because I was not bubbly and I didn’t seem like I wanted the job. I then call Hamali on the 7 August 2017 she said she will have proper feedback from my by the 11 August 2017. Up until now I have heard nothing. Poor service from the HR side.</p> <p>Which I feel much victimised as I feel the recruitment process in Discovery is not fair and people of a different nationality (Indians) will only see for their people. Which is very unfair. I need constructive criticisms as I personally feel that I was not treated fairly. To me it looks like you need to be pals with managers in order to get a position in Discovery. I gave it my all and if the HR department took the time out to actually call my reference they will come to know I am a bubbly and social bug.</p> <p>The feedback I was given was not correct and it definitely didn’t make no sense to me at all. I am currently a medical aid holder at discovery and I actually like to cancel my medical aid due to poor ethics and races acts. You guys need to look at your statics and actually see the race that gets positions in the call centre. To me there is no order and no work or people ethics. Im very disappoint as I put my all into this interview as im desperately in need of a job as my company is going thru a retrenchment process. Having to 2 kids which I need to work for and currently going thru a divorce made me even more determined to get this position, which was taken away from me for an unjust able reason.</p> <p>All I want is correct and constructive feedback and an opportunity to be part of the dynamic group. However I know after this mail I properly wont be ever call for an interview, which is ohk. As long as I raised the issue and hope in the future that you guys improve your system for the other potential candidates that apply for positions.</p>
<p>I have a contract with cell c and i want to insure my phone. I went into a cell c store and they said they dont insure phones at the branch so they gave me a number to call which is ********** . Ive been calling for 5 days now and not once did i speak to any one. I was on hold for 20 minutes on the 16.5.17. I need to insure my phone asap. Because if anything happens to my phone and its not insured i will not pay my monthly instalment.</p>
<p>I have been given the run around for 7 days. I stopped my card as it has been misplace they gave me a ref 8426. I went to the Gateway cellc store and they said mt matter is been resolved on the 3.12.16. I spoke to Candice and she was of no help.</p> <p>I called the call centre and spoke to Nokubonga Hlokoza and Palela Madesi and Magari who have given me no feed back and no one knows what is the correct process for the money to be transfer back into my card. Its been now 7 days and no one has give me any feedback and my card has no money in it.</p>
<p>i HAVE BEEN UP AND DOWN TO THE CELL C STORE AND IVE CALLED THE CALL CENTRE BUT NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I NEED MY MONEY TO BE TRANSFER BUT NO ONE CAN TELL ME THE PROCESS. IVE BEEN WAITING 7 DAY NOW.</p> <p>I SPOKE TO CANDICE AT THE CELLC STORE AND SHE TOLD ME THE MATTER HAS BEEN PROCESSED.</p> <p>I SPOKE TO PALELA MADESI AND NOKUBONGA HOKOZA AND MAGARI ALL FROM THE CELL C CALL CENTRE AND STIL NO JOY. I WANT MY MONEY TO REFLECT TODAY OR I WILL CONCEL MY CONTRACT.</p>
