I called Puma 4x today on 021 204 8282 to ascertain procedure to return online purchases. Notwithstanding each time I was no. 1 in the queue, my calls were not answered and nor was I called back. Is this their procedure to prevent returns ??? Not impressed with the service
On the 14th April I purchased from Woolworths Morningside Shopping Centre Sandton, 6 packets of Free Range Beef Droewors 150g and paid R99.99 each. My total spend that evening was R1829.87. Then on 16th April I purchased from Woolworths The Wedge (which was probably 750m away) another 2 packets at a shelf price of R94.99 each. I tried to get a refund for the difference of the higher price I paid 2 days prior. I was told that I had to go back to Woolworths Morningside, which I did. I first spoke to a cashier who then called a "manager" who refuse to entertain my request saying that prices changed daily and he would not help me. I consider myself a VERY GOOD customer of Woolworths and have never had such BAD service. Unfortunately I did not think to ask for his name. If the store was not so conveniently located I would boycott this store. The gentleman in question should go for further training.
I initially made enquires about Planet Fitness Black Friday specials, the first consultant that I saw said for pensioners it was only R99.00 pm without mentioning a specified period. I went back on 30th Nov 2024 to join and saw another consultant who advise it was only R99.00pm for 6 months and R799.00 for the remaining 18 months and did not know how the first consultant could imply it was R99pm indefinitely. It's a small thing, but was promised a gym bag and towel as well. I went back on 1st Dec and joined. When I asked for the bag and towel, I was told only after 16 visits and no time period was given. On 20th April, I enquired from the receptionist how many visits I had made so far, I was told 25, I then asked for the bag and towel, the response was that the 16 visits HAD to be over a period of the initial 2 months. I also checked my emails and saw an welcome email on 2nd Dec from Christopher Bell, your Planet Fitness - Morningside General Manager who advised that I should get a free tog bag and no conditions set. The bag and towel did not get me to join, but was a nice gesture. I actually went and bought my own tog bag and towels after being advised I had to do 16 visits first.
Despite 2 calls to customer service, a personal visit to a Dischem Store and an email requesting a printout of my Dischem Benefits Rewards account , I am still waiting. How difficult can it be to generate a printout and to email same to me. Service is none existent. The balance of rewards value per their website and till slips differs.
The consultant Kyla Knoetze was very helpful, it is always a pleasure dealing with the ladies from Dotsure. Claims queries are handled speedily and professionally.
This is for new subscribers to News24 "Subscribe to an annual News24 subscription today and you’ll get a free NY Times subscription, keeping you plugged in to two of journalism's finest newsrooms worldwide". I certainly would not call NY Times journalism's finest newsroom. They are typically part of "biased western media reporting" spreading **** news e.g Palestine genocide.
I was looking for a Jeep mechanic last year May 2022 and they came highly recommended. I took my 2008 Jeep Wrangler 4 door diesel in for a service and walked out with a bill of just under R30K. Service, cam belt, brakes, steering box, BALL JOINTS and catalytic converter. This year June 2023, I went back to them for a service and the bill was just over R38K. Service, Rear main oil seal, BALL JOINTS AGAIN @ R13K (explanation was that last year the ball joints were not replaced and the invoice was incorrectly made out, they said I was UNDERCHARGED), crank sensor, gearbox service, alternator pulley. It appears that the mechanics are instructed to find faults and repair as much as possible and to charge for same. The Jeep has been giving problems since same came back from the service and was sent to another mechanic who was shocked at the amounts charged on the 2 accounts. The Jeep now had to be sent to gearbox specialists to have a sensor replaced. Use Unlimited Auto if you have deep pockets and are not knowledgeble about cars
A month's notice was given to terminate their services on 2 properties that I own and to cancel the corresponding debit orders. 2 months later the debit orders are still being processed despite numerous calls to cancel same and obtain refunds.
Don't bother calling them, they don't appear to be interested in new clients. I called last week and received a whatsapp message in reply after a couple of days. I responded to same and now waiting for them to call back.
<p>The following statement appears on the DSTV web site</p> <p>"We’ve listened to our customers and updated our holiday viewing service to make it easier for you.</p> <p>The biggest change is to what used to be the prepaid option – if you want to activate your holiday home and still keep your main home active, you don’t need to pay upfront anymore. Simply activate your holiday home, enjoy your viewing while on holiday, deactivate when you come back and then pay for the days you actually watched with your next DStv payment.</p> <p>This is how easy it is to take the power of great entertainment with you"</p> <p>I activated my holiday card on 08/12/2016 and on 28/12/2016 my bank account was debited for viewing in December and for January 2017. This is contrary to the above statement. No refunds are possible and I will be credited with the period not utilised when I deactivate my "holiday card"</p>
