Their website glibly states "Passion for Patients". It should be "Passion for Patience" cos they made my mom wait 2 hours over her scheduled pickup. "Was it perhaps a medical emergency," I enquired from the manager. "No man, it's a new crew, they just got lost". I kid you not. Don't bother with these clowns.
poorest of poor client service. call centre is constantly "experiencing high call volumes" - waited 15 minutes and then the customer service review came up, without speaking to anyone. this is to arrange something as simple as account access.
There's only one thing that is worse than terrible service, and that is no service. Santam has been processing a claim for well over a month now. No feedback. No response. No nothing. Luckily I have sold the flat that they underwrite the building insurance for so as soon as I push and push and push to get this claim settled, I will be done with them and they will be out of my life forever. Life's too short to have to deal with the likes of Santam.

webafrica migrated their hosting to gridhost. my credit card expired, so our services were cut. I was instructed by webafrica consultant to pay outstanding amount via eft, which i did twice (for outstanding amount and future billing) and then asked if i can programmed the details. Then gridhost sent me an invoice saying account had still not been paid, and credit card was only way to pay. So i paid via credit card as well. Now i was (foolishly it seems) trying to find out if my account could be credited for the two amounts i've paid via eft. they very obligingly sent me a ticket number and a call centre number to be dialled internationally. when i select the option, it gives me the 0860 number, which i can't reach from outside of SA.
