I bought Plasma TV some time ago. It worked well but developed a black line down the center of the screen. I spoke to a person at the Samsung shop in the Somerset West Mall. The response is that I should take it to Liptronics for a quote to have it repaired. Result is "Sorry no parts available anymore" Bought a Samsung Frame 55" Tv at an auction. The TV was manufactured in July 2017 and released is SA in 2018. The warranty was for 2 years from date of manufacture or date of purchase. I could only provide the proof of purchase at the auction house which mean that the warranty run from date of manufacture. This was confirmed by Liptronics on at least 3 occasions. The Frame TV started giving problems and a staff member of Samsung visited my house and saw himself what the problem was. The end result is that I took the TV to Liptronics on 26 April 2019. A phone call on 29 April confirmed the warranty but also provide me with a quotation of about R4 800,00. No response for several weeks and I end up driving to the shop. Once again the owner confirmed the warranty of 2 years from date of manufacture. I was informed on 30 May that the parts, if locally available, will have the TV repaired in 2 days. This was confirmed on 31 May after Liptronics met with Wayne Peters and phoned me. On 4 June I went back to Liptronics and were told that the warranty does not apply? What now? I sit with 2 large TV's and not one is working properly Is this service - NO Is this a quality product - NO Is this a brand that stand by its promises - NO Is this a brand that I will recommend - NO Is this something that I will buy again - NO Is this a message that I will use in the media - YES
This group got hold of my private e-mail address. It was pure help to get my name removed from the mailing list - 3 months. The phone numbers on the e-mails is that of a person that is not working for the company anymore. They refuse to reveal the source where they got my information The arrogance of the people that you talk to, when you get hold of them stinks. Stay away as far as you can.
We arrived at Klein plasie. Gate closed. Notice on the wall refer us to Pofadder hotel. Got there. Nobody attended to reception. Girl behind a particion argued. Called them. Service - ****. Paid for accomodation. Got a code to enter. Repeated the code 3 times. When we got to the site the code did not work. Tried 3 times. Phoned the hotel and got a different code. Got to the chalet. Glasses missing. Mugs missing. Whent to visit friends. Got back at 20.00. Self catering chalet. No coffee. No sugar. No tea. No salt but a container empty. Pepper container full. Coffee, sugar and tea containers are filthy. Inside and out. Want to shower. No warm water. Call the hotel. They sent a security gaurd. He switch of the main power switch. On again. Comments was that the geiser element is not working. Sounds like an electrician that knows the geiser need tobwarm up first. Q what now? He don't know. Asked him to have a shower in the same shower with cold water as my wife did.0 Just smiled. Temp is 4 degree outside. Insist on another chalet or room at hotel. Got referred to the hotel. Got there and the doors were locked. Notice on the wall to call Kevin. Did that. Got keys for the rooms. Asked for glasses. I am only security and have no keys. That while he was sitting almost on top of a heater and eating. Spoke with a mouth full of food Found coffee mugs. Chiped. Not enough blankets to keep us warm. 5 star prices. 5 star **** service. Never again and never to be recommended. Rather travel 100k more and get proper accomodation and service at half the price. Leon is the owner could not be reached at home or on cell. Customer service at its lowest best
<p>We went to the market almost every Saturday. Few exceptions. Today was the most disgusting day ever. What was usual a stunning day out. Music that all the people at the market enjoy and were singing along as you walk through the stalls made the day even more special.<br />Then today?<br />What a bunch of RUBBISH. The normal stunning music was stopped and an idiot, you can not call him an artist but he was perfectly ****ing some good music with a voice that sounded like he is in pain. The volume was loud to the extend that we had you shout to friends just to be heard. The nice soft music was shut down with no warning.<br />More so is the fact that African art is taking over the market. What used to be an outing and a place to take friends to experience the true feeling of the Slow Market has turned into a disgusting pile of rubbish.<br />- African art is taking over the market<br />- Quality traders have been disappearing<br />- Music that we all loved was replaced with a noisy howling musician that need some serious training before standing up on a stage like this</p> <p>there is no other way to describe this:<br />Slow Market NO<br />Slow dying Market - YES</p> <p>Wake up and smell the roses or shut down and walk away before your regular visitors disappear, as we are noticing already.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Why do you bother to change something that was working and was a pleasure to go to? A little girl some months ago got out of a car, threw her hands in the air and said "I love this place" Now it is dying.</p> <p> </p> <p>Disgusting what you have manged to achieve. Turn a pleasure into pain.</p> <p> </p> <p>No thanks. After visiting the market for almost 8 years it is time to say goodbye.</p> <p> </p> <p>Rest in piece or is it rest in pieces</p>
<p>At last I have made peace and Makro will never see me again. </p> <p>Yesterday we went to return an item that did not work. Complaints from all the customers at the counter. The staff did not care. I bought a simple item a few months ago. never used it and it was returned in the original packing. No slip resulted in a search on their system. Same as before - WE CANNOT FIND ANY RECORD OF THE SALE. I had the same experience before and after complaints they found it. </p> <p>Mistake that I made - we went and buy some more stuff. Bad experience at the till. Articles bought and scanned were thrown to the back of the counter with no regard of what it was. Glass, fragile? No we DO NOT CARE.</p> <p>Not the first time like this. I went back this morning and returned a purchase of R 977,00 for the simple reason that they could find nothing as proof that I have bought it. Same question - another card - answer NO. 5 Times the same question. </p> <p>My response was simple. I returned all the items bought and insist to see the manager. Same request made 5 times. </p> <p>Response - WHY WHY WHY WHY </p> <p>Eventually a person appear to seem to be like a supervisor. Same request- Are you a manager. Response - YES. </p> <p>Now it was like 30 minutes or more. What we did notice was the return counter was double the size of the till queue. Next to us a man complained about Ryobi equipment bought. They send him to Montague gardens - at his own time and cost </p> <p>This morning I decided to return all the goods bought and request a refund. In the queue while we waited for a manager (STORE MANAGER) a lady were standing next to us. Same problem - we can not find it on the system </p> <p>Yesterday's item was actually the laughing stock of the day. If the client that returned the Ryobi item just had a look at the shelves at the back of the section of the shop he would have seen at least 5 items, Ryobi, that have been returned. </p> <p>I now have piece of mind because I have used a scissors to cut up my Makro card in the return area. </p> <p>I am relaxed because I do not have to put up with:</p> <p>- Bad service</p> <p>- Bad attitude of staff that is filling trolleys for online shopping</p> <p>- Bad volume of all the electronic equipment that fires it away at full blast as you enter the shop</p> <p>- Bad and total disregard of staff that sit at one end of an isle and then shout as loud as they can to another staff member at the opposite end of the same isle</p> <p>- Bad treatment to the pint of almost being a criminal, after I have paid for my purchases, when the items are in the trolley and get thrown around with total disregard of what it is.</p> <p>- Bad frown staff that does not even know how to check a simple item like a hardbody travel bag - yes simply open the zipd halfway and force the case open.</p> <p>- worst of all is the parking area. The area are in an enclosed area yet we have to put up with harassment when you go out of the exit. Then it continues for the walk to your vehicle. Yesterday was the ultimate. While I was unpacking the trolley tried to steal from the trolley as soon as my back was turned.</p> <p> Why is the store manager hiding</p> <p>Why does he not properly train staff</p> <p>Why is there a flea market at the Ottery store? And do not come up with the excuse that it is for a church fundraising</p> <p>Why</p> <p> No I do not have to ask the question anymore - I am liberated from Makro after 37 YEARS</p> <p> I am at peace at last. - I cut the piece of plastic in the shop and walked out never to return</p> <p>A simple question at Pick and Pay resulted in a staff member to get the required item in the storeroom in lest that a minute - SERVICE</p> <p> </p>
