Absolutely appalling. Claim lodged 8 days ago, every day new requests are sent asking for additional forms, pics, etc, instead of all at once.
Sometimes - but very rarely - businesses manage to turn a poor customer experience around completely. Dean at Greencoil did that. Got back to me in 15 minutes and exceeded my expectations in putting things right.
<p>Some insurers have the reputation that they'll look for any excuse not to settle a claim, and you feel like you have to grovel to them rather than feeling that they are trying to do the best for you. Discovery - and Preyalen Moodley, who looked after me - didn't quibble at all, settled an emergency claim in full and then paid for additional work that needed to be done, and Preyalen followed up several times proactively. I didn;t have to chase him at all. Very impressed.</p>
