I am usually very happy with Takealot, but it seems that this company now needs some proper competition in the market. They are over confident and therefore service is declining. I ordered an A30 Samsung phone for my daughter. It was supposed to be delivered in the 8th of June. Since then, this phone was 'lost in transit' and now it is becoming my problem. I have not had proper feedback since the 8th. I requested a refund since, which also cannot be done unless the phone is 'received' by a branch!!!??? I find this unacceptable. No proper feedback, no refund. I am extremely disappointed. I always recommended Takealot to friends and family in the past, but will definitely not be doing so any longer, in fact I will be looking elsewhere.
I placed my order with Yolandi on the 5th of June. Yolandi told me that my payment needs to 'clear' in Adelle Botha's account. The waybill sent to me via whatsapp was not mine; it was for another client, wrong address, wrong cellphone number.... If I did not ask for feedback, none would have been given. One week later and I have still not received any package. I asked for my payment to be reimbursed, but this request is ignored. The distribututor was apparently going to phone me this morning with feedback. It is now 15:00 and still no feedback. Fat cats... these guys. Once they received your payment, they don't care, because the package is now with 'The Courier Guy' - not my problem any longer. Do not order from this company. They want your money and will not reimburse you if you request it. I do not want the products any more. They are not professional. How should I trust everything they mention about their products if I cannot trust them?
I was called by someone from a call centre to activate an app on my phone from the Copwatch Security company. It sounded like a good idea at the time. I installed the app, but I never activated it and never signed any paperwork to commit to any payment whatsoever. Before I knew it, I was sent outstanding bills!!! For a service and app never even activated! A reputable company just went from hero, to zero in my eyes. They are on a witch hunt for payment of installments of this app I apparently installed, but never even activated!!! How absolute crazy and unacceptable
<p>In the middle of March I placed TWO online orders with EDGARS; two separate dates. I was notified of both orders being dispatched. The first order was delivered without a problem. The second order, has not been delivered, after three weeks. When I followed it up today, they just replied: Oh no sorry, it has been received. I was sent the first order's signed delivery note. They just refuse to dig deeper and find out what happenened. This is after I told them, that we have 24 hour, 7 days a week CCTV footage of all deliveries and vehicles arriving and departing from the complex. I urge you not to buy anything from Edgars online. </p>
<p>On the 30th of November 2016, I changed my cellphone contract and I was promised (after I held on for 30 minutes) , that this will be done, at no additional charge, the next day - the 1st of December 2016. They remind us of course quite clearly that all calls are recorded.... they better go track my call to them... During December I looked on the website and noticed that my contract has NOT been changed. I called customer care again and I have still had NO FEEDBACK. Today, I receive my account via e-mail. I am livid!!! Now I am charged for the new contract for December 2016 and for January 2017.!!!! If this is not sorted out by COB tomorrow, the 13th of January 2017, I will cancel my contract with Vodacom. I am fedup with their service!!! What's happened to Vodacom??????</p>
